Have you tried shopping for sunscreen lately? Gosh, it's not easy! Once you wade through the 'reputable' brands with a certified SPF rating, you're still left wondering...will it sit on my skin nicely? Will it make my skin greasy? Will it pill under my make up?
Here are the top 3 facial sunscreens in NZ, rated by YOU, the good people of New Zealand!
1. La Roche-Posay® Anthelios XL Ultra Light SPF50+
RATED: 4.6/5!
Beauty Review Member sarahwaughnz says: I initially started using this while travelling as the small bottle appealed to me and I wanted something light for my face but with high protection. I am a big fan! It offers high protection without being shiny or feeling too heavy. It sits well under makeup and isn't visible on the skin. The bottle lasts surprisingly well because once it's on, I find I don't need to reapply for the rest of the day. My skin can be a bit sensitive at times but did not react to this product.
2. Oasis Beauty Sun SPF 30+
RATED: 4.6/5!
Beauty Review Member Judith says: I have been using this sunscreen for a while now and am really happy with the results. It absorbs well and I like the fact that it's non-greasy and therefore doesn't shine and dominate my face. I keep it in the kitchen so all the family have access to it so - it is used by all ages. I really like the fact that it can be worn under makeup, this is the biggest plus for me, and this encourages me to apply it even when I am going out as I know that it will have absorbed well in and doing its job as I apply makeup over the top.
3. Olay Complete UV Lotion Sensitive Skin SPF30
RATED: 4.5/5
Beauty Review Member Tinadixon says: This is one of the best sunscreens out there. I have sensitive skin and it leaves my skin feeling mouiserized and protected a the same time. It doesn’t have that oily feeling like most sun screens it comes in a great little bottle with pump which is perfect for in the car or your handbag. Perfect for on my face
I haven't tried any of those. I have the Skinnies one now though.
