When BR Merilyn created Beauty Review a decade ago, one of her main goals was to create a beautiful community, filled with wonderful members who embraced the Beauty Review concept, who loved beauty products, and who wrote reviews that would help out others that were trying to make beauty buying decisions.
Over the past ten years her dream has flourished, bringing together beauty lovers from all across New Zealand to create a community that she is so proud of. With that in mind, when we were brainstorming how to celebrate ten years of Beauty Review we kept going back to the beginning, to those who've been with us for so much of it, who helped shape Beauty Review into the place it is today. It seemed only right that we give thanks by creating a Reviewer of the Decade award. An accolade given to a beauty lover who represents the best of everything Beauty Review aims to be.
I won't lie... things got tense during these discussions. We have so many amazing members who've been with us since the beginning, or close to the beginning. They're gorgeous human beings, and are so supportive of each other, and of the Beauty Review crew. They regularly review products, and their reviews aren't just two sentence wonders - they're genuinely thoughtful and helpful. They chat on the forum. They never miss a trial deadline. They've been steady ships in choppy waters and sunbeams on the darkest of days.
With that in mind, we knew we could only pick one. Except we couldn't.
Two names kept coming up over and over again, and rather than single one out we wanted to acknowledge both of them. So, who are the Beauty Review Reviewers of the Decade...
