Are you an English Rose or a Bronzed Beauty?

Don't let the rain decieve you.  Summer is here.  Which basically divides us ladies in to two basic beauty groups.  Those who strive for the sunkissed / bronzed / oompa loompa glow and those that accept their natural fair / easily burnt / vampire skin.

Whether you seek your beauty inspiration from magazines, websites or the movies you've no doubt noticed the plethera of tips to turn you in to a beach babe - from bronzers and bright colours to stylishly unkempt hair.  But what about those who don't want to, or can't, pull off the golden summer hues?

Nothing says youthful and fresh like an English Rose.  Dewy skin, flushed cheeks and rosy lips scream natural beauty and is an easy (and virtually effortless) alternative to the Bronzed Beauty.

Australis' new Lip and Cheek Combo is "a multi- tasking cream blush and lipgloss duo that is easy to blend and provides a light feeling natural look."  And natually we're going to be putting it to the test!

So talk to us about your summer look.  Are you kissed by the sun or are you pale and interesting?  Do you strive for one look, but find it unobtainable?

I'm more of a sunkissed look - I don't go in the sun (unless I'm doing something like gardening or walking etc. I fake it all the way though, except during winter where you look kinda silly being all bronzed up hehe. This looks lovely and a really great idea!

My body usually gets an ok tan in summer but then my face is just so pale compared to the rest of my body :/

Love, love, love the sun kissed look

Thankfully, naturally "kissed by the sun" all year round :) yay

Its an endless battle! Sometimes Im too lazy and accept my pale/freckle skin and then sometimes I fight mother nature and bronze myself up!

I'm quite pale, in the summer I get a bit tanner naturally from being in the sun. Or I use sugarbaby fake tan.

I used to be pale, but now I just have really tanned Asian skin but I want to be paler so badly! However, I've never really been able to do the pale look right and contouring always turns out clownish too. I think it's because the pale products here in NZ are really really pale and I need something in between super pale and medium coloured skin. I'm always a sucker for a palette that does double duty and saves on handbag space though!

I am definitely an English rose. I've always had fair skin and struggle at best to get a tan!

I use to tan but find I look much healthier now I watch my sun exposure and embrace the pastey :)

I'm pretty pale I'd love to be tanned but o well it's taken me years to accept I am what I am :)

Pale, pasty in winter and a bit of a tan in summer! I used to be very tanned in summer when I was younger, but have learnt that lesson now and use lots of suntan lotion.

Ooooh this looks gorge! Its hard to embrace being an english rose sometimes :(

I'm half asian. I'm not pale enough to be white but then for an Asian I'm very fair. I don't try to get tanned either as I don't need to. If Asian Rose was an option I'm probably it.
