Are you an English Rose or a Bronzed Beauty?

Don't let the rain decieve you.  Summer is here.  Which basically divides us ladies in to two basic beauty groups.  Those who strive for the sunkissed / bronzed / oompa loompa glow and those that accept their natural fair / easily burnt / vampire skin.

Whether you seek your beauty inspiration from magazines, websites or the movies you've no doubt noticed the plethera of tips to turn you in to a beach babe - from bronzers and bright colours to stylishly unkempt hair.  But what about those who don't want to, or can't, pull off the golden summer hues?

Nothing says youthful and fresh like an English Rose.  Dewy skin, flushed cheeks and rosy lips scream natural beauty and is an easy (and virtually effortless) alternative to the Bronzed Beauty.

Australis' new Lip and Cheek Combo is "a multi- tasking cream blush and lipgloss duo that is easy to blend and provides a light feeling natural look."  And natually we're going to be putting it to the test!

So talk to us about your summer look.  Are you kissed by the sun or are you pale and interesting?  Do you strive for one look, but find it unobtainable?

That looks fabulous. I like the summer tan moisturisers for the body and use a good sunscreen elsewhere but I do keep my face out of the sun so need a bit of help to keep everything even. Unfortunately when I was growing up there was no such thing as sunblock so have got a fair bit of sun damage. We just need to move on from thinking a tan is a healthy look but sometimes too pale looks a bit insipid, a little colour is needed to give that healthy glow.

Definitely pale and interesting! Which, without a little colour in my cheeks can easily be mistaken for wan and tired. Would love to try a fresh, dewy cream blush!

I do tan quite easily, but I lose it quickly as well. Due to work these days my tan has not reappeared, but I don't mind, I quite like being an English Rose.

I look better tanned, unfortunately when having spent the winter in England I was once asked if I was sick, I was so pale! But being sun conscious I tend to fake the bronzed look these days!

I embrace both! Usually if I have events coming up I'll get the fake tan out for those but go with my natural colour (or a bit pof bronzer!) the rest of the time. I do not have the patience to tan that often haha

Oh to be a bronzed beauty! My husband likes to tease me saying 'you don't get a tan, you get a white!' - little sod! On the upside hopefully this pasty bod of mine will age wonderfully ;)

I'm naturally quite pale but I find that a bit of bronzer in summer works miracles! It's taken me ages to perfect the look though, lots of practice.
