Beauty At Home – Five Things We Want Right Now!

There’s nothing quite like being pampered by a beauty therapist, or even seeing a therapist for a skin-saving beauty treatment. Unfortunately though, some times we don’t have the time or the money to afford on-going treatments. Lucky for us, there are products out there we can buy that will give us the spa experience at home! Sure, they may involve a little bit of money initially, but they’re the gift to self that keeps on giving. So what are our top five picks for the ultimate at-home beauty experience? Read on!

There’s nothing like that deep clean feel you get during a facial, and youcan replicate that feeling at home with a cleansing brush, like the Conair True Glow Sonic Cleansing Brush. Designed to make your cleanser twice as effective, the Conair True Glow promises to unclog pores and wash away dirt without irritating your skin, all the while preparing your skin to absorb moisturiser better. Now that’s a win/win!

Love the feeling of having your face steamed? Ditch the bowl of hot water and the towel and upgrade to a facial sauna, such as the Homedics Facial Sauna. Not only does it offer a deep clean for your skin, but also its inhaler attachment is designed to help relieve sinus pressure and pain. A two in one beauty gadget? You’ve got to love that.

After a long hard week the soothing hands of a massage therapist is utter bliss. But what if you could enjoy a massage while binge watching the latest doco or TV show from Netflix? That’s when a personal massager comes in, such as the Medisana Neck Massager. Ideal for at home use, its portable nature means you can also treat yourself to a massage on the go!

Another Medisana product that has us – or at least our sore feet – wanting to dance a jig is the Air Pressure Foot Massager. Imagine coming home after a big day (or night!), sitting down and letting its rolling shiatsu massager and kneading air pressure ease the stresses and strains of the day away.

If a nail pamper session is on the cards, but you don’t have the time or inclination to see a nail technician, why not invest in Remington’s Flawless Nails Manicure and Pedicure Kit? This 14-piece kit has everything your need to create salon-worthy nails, including interchangeable attachments for filing, buffing, cleaning, shaping – even callus removal, as well as a high speed nail drying fan.

With gadgets like those you’d never need to leave the house for a beauty treatment again! Although there is something to be said for sitting back and letting someone else do the work…

So do tell, which gadget would you choose if you could choose one? Do you already own one of the above? What are your thoughts? Do you own other at-home beauty products that we need to know about? Sharing is caring!

I'd love to have a facial steamer. I've been looking to buy one but they're a bit pricey

The neck massager is what I need!! I could use it at work sitting at my desk! I so need a massage just can't afford the $$ to go to a masseuse :(

Omg would love a Air Pressure Foot Massager would be so good as I get really sore feet

The Air Pressure Foot Massager sounds divine, my hubby and I both suffer from sore feet at times and this would be ideal.

I already have a facial cleansing device so I would go for the neck massager. I have my eye on a foot warmer that has an inbuilt foot massaging option and plans to get that before winter. I do like the mani and pedi kit but I'd probably worry that I'd wear out my natural nails if I use too much pressure.

I own a Cleansing Brush (not the Conair True Glow Sonic Cleansing Brush though), and it is the best thing a woman would ever own. I would love to own a Facial Steamer next!

That foot massager looks amazing! I volunteer at an op shop and we always have foot spas in stock, often brand new. I don't think people use them as often as they think they will.

The neck and foot massagers sound divine and after that the flawless nail kit --What an awesome selection,

If I had to pick one, I'd go for the cleansing brush - I think it'll be a great addition to the skincare routine.

I actually have a couple of these things and don't use them that often. They're lovely to use but I never have the time to properly use them.
