This week is all about reminding you to Save The Date.  "The date for what?" you ask. 

The Beauty Vault opens on Saturday 10th May at 9.00am for Review Heroes (and our 3 Superheroes) and 9.10 for Review Experts.

If we learnt one thing from the last vault it's that the vault excitement turns a lot of our members into nosy parkers!  We can't count how many times we've been asked - "Will there be a preview of the products before the vault opens?".  And the answer is...YES.  We'll open the Vault for a couple of hours late next week - and just to whet your appetite, we'll be showcasing some of the amazing products that will be up for grabs, every day this week.

First up - the much coveted Avon Mega Effects Mascara. 

When word of this product first hit NZ from shores afar our members went a little crazy with the hype,so we made a few calls and sourced some for an exclusive BR trial.  The spots on this trial team were literally snapped up in less than 30 seconds!

The hype all surrounded the revolutionary (and rather strange looking) brush.

The Wonderbrush bends and adjusts to multiple angles capturing every lash, top to bottom. The unique brush fits the natural shape of lashes, coating them evenly with formula from root to tip.

The extra surface area of the Wonderbrush bristles are designed to deliver 40% more mascara to the lash.

This mascara sounds interesting but I have very short, sparse lashes so I'm not sure how it would play out with the brush so with that in mind, I would probably look at other items in the vault and leave this for someone who really wants it.

I didn't actually realise this was mascara lol. When I saw the photo on the poll question on the side it looked like some sort of comb, so I clicked "no"! Haha whoops! Now that I've read the article and know its mascara I'd be really keen to try it. I love having bold lashes and this looks like it would do the trick. I'm also really excited to see what else is in the beauty vault!

I'm not going to lie, that is one intimidating looking mascara... My hand eye coordination is not the best!

I think I am too much of a newbie still to enter the vault, but have to say the hype is contagious.

I already have this and I'm not sure if I like or dislike it lol. Hard to get the hang of using but I'll keep trying :)

I've so wanted to try this product but I've FOUR mascaras on the go at the moment. And if I were lucky enough to get one of these I'd have to try it immediately which would bring the total of open mascaras up to five. I think I'll stay strong to my 'I'm not getting anything this Vault' vow ... unless there's something even more tempting in there ;)

This definitely is a one of kind brush. I do think it's bit too wide for my tiny eyes but I imagine it would look gorgeous on someone with eyes that are suited to the length of the brush.

Me too. If I see something I really want I will go for it but I wouldn't just buy something because I could if it doesn't catch my fancy would much rather leave it for someone else.

Same here gaijinchick, and I might be saving them up again this time too... will see what the preview tempts me with :) Either way the vault is a bonus.
