Did you use to use Pantene?

Did you know that the biggest hair care concern of New Zealand women is damage protection?

Well that's what Pantene discovered in a recent survey of Kiwi women.  Some other interesting revalations include;

  • Just over one in ten Kiwi women said a bad hair day would leave them feeling “frustrated and angry at the world”.
  • 13% of us would actively avoid eye contact with people if our hair wasn’t up to scratch.
  • Twenty-three percent of women surveyed said if they were unhappy with their hair they’d rather stay at home than venture outside.
  • More than half of all respondents saying a bad hair day leaves them feeling embarrassed and self-conscious.

So Pantene set out to create a new formula that could address women's major hair concern - damage protection and say goodbye to bad hair days.

This new formulation can be found across the entire range of Pantene products - new and improved, you don’t have to compromise great feeling hair by weighing it down with protective or restorative ingredients.  The optimal blend of Pro-V in new Pantene nourishes and protects hair to deliver up to 100% damage protection with a lightweight feel.

The Pantene range also contains a revolutionary technology in Keratin Damage Blockers, which help defend hair against irreversible oxidative damage. With every wash hair is healthier, more resilient and more beautiful.

Well of course we simply have to put the new range to the test, and who better to report back than those who've tried the old range in the past?  Yes we're putting a call out for lapsed Pantene users to give the new range a go!

So if you're up for a bit of a trial challenge why not comment below with your experience of Pantene in the past - your reviewing expertise may be called upon soon!

Absolutely loved using Pantene when I was growing my hair long, was the only stuff that could prevent serious fly away!!

3rd December, 2014

I used to use Pantene for so many years since I was a kid... But my hair kept falling so I changed and tried different brands... I found Dove, I have been using Dove for 5 years and it stopped my hair from falling until recently... I guess it's time for me to try different hair products now...

I used Patene for a while but found it made my hair heavy .I would love to try again though as it has been some time since I purchased.

1st December, 2014

I've used Pantene a couple of times in the past year and while using it I found it made my hair nice and shiny but eventually started to dry it out, so I tried their one for dry and damaged which helped but the shine was gone. So while using it I found I had to choose what quality in my hair I wanted to improve on. I'd love to see if the new formula works with my hair in its current condition.

Yes, I used to use it and must say it never really stood out for me. It works for awhile and then it tends to just be like any other shampoo and conditioner. Would be interesting to see what they have done to improve the formula and the results you get from it.

I used it till my hairdresser made me promise not too

29th November, 2014

I've used it before but not for some time, I'm always trying out new shampoos trying to find that winning formula!

I used to use Pantene all the time! Then there was a lot of hype about it being bad for your hair due to silicones so I stopped (this was a long time ago!) Maybe it is time I started again. I do love the idea of lightweight nourishment.

29th November, 2014

I haven't used it in years and haven't really thought about using it again although by the sounds of things I would try it again.

29th November, 2014

I used to use it all the time, then my scalp mustve got sick of it cause it got real itchy and I had to stop using it :-(

29th November, 2014

I used to love pantene, but then I think they must have changed the formula because it started leaving a build up in my hair. I haven't tried it again recently but maybe I should

29th November, 2014

I used pantene for a long time about six years and found it good as long as u was using it but as soon as I used anything other than pantene my hair was worse than before I started using it. I would be keen to see if the new formula is better to help tame my colour damaged locks. Its been five years since I used it so I think it's time to give it another shot

29th November, 2014

havent used this product for many years now.

29th November, 2014

I loved using Pantene but then found that my hair started to get really oily/dirty looking fast so I decided it must have been because I had used the same shampoo/conditioner for so long, so changed to other brands. Would love to give Pantene another go because until the above happened it did make my hair look and feel awesome

28th November, 2014
