Did you use to use Pantene?

Did you know that the biggest hair care concern of New Zealand women is damage protection?

Well that's what Pantene discovered in a recent survey of Kiwi women.  Some other interesting revalations include;

  • Just over one in ten Kiwi women said a bad hair day would leave them feeling “frustrated and angry at the world”.
  • 13% of us would actively avoid eye contact with people if our hair wasn’t up to scratch.
  • Twenty-three percent of women surveyed said if they were unhappy with their hair they’d rather stay at home than venture outside.
  • More than half of all respondents saying a bad hair day leaves them feeling embarrassed and self-conscious.

So Pantene set out to create a new formula that could address women's major hair concern - damage protection and say goodbye to bad hair days.

This new formulation can be found across the entire range of Pantene products - new and improved, you don’t have to compromise great feeling hair by weighing it down with protective or restorative ingredients.  The optimal blend of Pro-V in new Pantene nourishes and protects hair to deliver up to 100% damage protection with a lightweight feel.

The Pantene range also contains a revolutionary technology in Keratin Damage Blockers, which help defend hair against irreversible oxidative damage. With every wash hair is healthier, more resilient and more beautiful.

Well of course we simply have to put the new range to the test, and who better to report back than those who've tried the old range in the past?  Yes we're putting a call out for lapsed Pantene users to give the new range a go!

So if you're up for a bit of a trial challenge why not comment below with your experience of Pantene in the past - your reviewing expertise may be called upon soon!

I haven't used Pantene in years. I used it when I was younger and still lived at home because my mum would buy it occasionally but haven't use it since. Not because I don't like the brand, I just pick whatever's on special or splurge on a salon brand.

I used Pantene for years and stopped for a while and have now come back to it. The conditioner leaves my hair so silky smooth and tangle free. I'm all for this product!

I think the last time I used Pantene Rachel Hunter was still the spokesmodel! I was advised by my hairdresser not to use it because it had high levels of silicones which coated the hair. Since then I have used salon brands with varying degrees of success. It would be nice to find a supermarket brand I could pick up with the weekly shop - maybe it is time to try Pantene again?

I used to use pantene all the time and then my hair dresser told me it was really bad for my hair as put a coat onto the hair...is this true, I have no idea but it put me off using it. My hair is a disaster and I have tried every product known to man, it is still a disaster....Pantene are you different or not!

I have used Pantene before but I have found better products. I still have their spray in detangle conditioner and their night miracle leave in serum though.

Pantene used to be my favourite shampoo-about 10 years ago! My hair always looked healthy and shiny but my hairdresser told me it wasn't good for my hair so I stopped using it. I'm older and wiser now, hopefully, so perhaps it's time to reconnect.

I also used Pantene for years but got tempted away by more volumising products. To be honest, I love having more volume, but I really miss the way Pantene made my hair look - shiny and healthy. If there is a new volumising product in their range now, I'd definitely try it.

Pantene was my go to product - absolutely loved it , but then I started trying different products and just drifted away from it - But I still think its a great product - now you have me thinking - I should give it another go!

I used to use panteen years ago but found it too heavy for my hair, will love to try it again, if it can do what it claims I'd change back to it :)

i've always had good experiences from pantene. Haven't used it in a long long time. Used to be the only shampoo i would use

I used to love Pantene it was the only shampoo and conditioner I would use as my hair always felt so soft and healthy but I suddenly had a reaction to it and ive tried it now and again hoping I wouldn't react to it but sadly I did so haven't brought any in a long time

I used to use Pantene loyally for about 5 years - not really sure why I stopped but now I'm just yoyo-ing between brands but super keen to go back and try to see how it's improved!

I used to use Pantene: it's what my mum would buy, with a house of 6 girls. I've moved to Schwarzkopf extra Keratin after sampling it in a supermarket promotion and haven't turned back. I would be interested in giving Pantene another go - I didn't have any particular problem with it, was just impressed with the result when I used the Schwarzkopf. My hair could do with some moisture and damage control! :/

Ive used Pantene a lot in the past but honestly I have found better shampoo and conditioners that have helped keep my damaged hair at bay, maybe the new Pantene range is better?

I used to use pantene, unsure why I stopped to be honest. I think when you are in the supermarket the allure of something 'different' than what you last used is too strong.
