So we're back with another trial team from the cult brand CeraVe!  This time we're looking for reviewers to form a trial team reviewing two products; both products are suitable for skin with Ketatosis Pilaris and Eczema - two conditions that can be at the least; annoying, and at the most, painful and frustrating to live with.

Keratosis Pilaris is a common and harmless skin condition where small bumps are present, mostly on the arms, bottom, back, thighs and sometimes the face. The bumps can blend into the skin, or may be red, pink or brown and some people find KP itchy.  The bumps are caused by an excess production of keratin, which gets trapped in the hair follicle.  It's most common in children and teens, with women more likely to experience it than men.

Eczema is a common skin condition, of red, itchy and/or dry skin.  Eczema can be quite mild, or very servere - impacting daily life in some cases.  The causes of Eczema can be complex, the most easy to identify are irritants such a soaps, wool, heat or sweating.  Allergens such as pollen and foods can also cause a flare up.  Emotional stress is another eczema trigger.

Eczema commonly begins on the face, hands and feet, but it can spread to the whole body.  Eczema can be identified by itching, redness, tiny fluid filled blisters, dry, pale patches of skin and areas of leathery, thick skin.

One key factor in both soothing and preventing eczema flare ups is moisturising.

This trial team will be reviewing the Smoothing SA Cleanser and the Smoothing SA Moisturising Cream.  Both products work together to exfoliate, soften and smooth dry, rough, bumpy feeling skin without disrupting the protective skin barrier.

While I have a small amount of eczema my husband has a lot all over his face and body. It's flared up at the moment which is causing discomfort and itchiness. Would love to try this for him to see if we could finally find something to help him.

Yes I have both - Keratosis Pilaris on my upper arms and Eczema on my hands. I never have found a product that worked for both.

I have keratosis pilaris on my arms. I'd be so excited if I could find a product to help reduce it!

I’ve had keratosis pilaris forever, on the backs of my arms, my legs, and sometimes even along my jawline. I’ve been looking for a lasting and actual effective fix - this could be perfect for me!

I have acne prone, oily- combination skin. Im looking for products that smooth the texture and make my pores appear smaller. Im heard a lot of good things about this Cerave cleanser and would love to try.

Wow I didn’t know that a product existed that could help my keratosis pilaris. This is a condition I’ve had since childhood, and have now passed on to my kids. I would love to try this product and find out if it works!

I would love to give this product a try I get mild eczema and so do my children. We currently use any unscented moisturiser to maintain outbreaks but occasionally that can happen. Any product that helps is a great.

I have keratosis pilaris, it gets worse in winter (summer sun seems to help), I'd love to give this a go!

I have Keratosis Pilaris and am yet to find a product that helps! I’ve had it mostly on my arms and legs as long as I can remember. I gave up looking for products to help and just accepted this was what my skin is. I’ve seen a lot about CeraVe SA creams and it’s claims so would be very interested to see if it really works!

I have had keratosis pilaris like bumps on my thighs for many many years. (never been diagnosed) I have tried many different exfoliants over the years but nothing has really worked to get rid of the bumps. I've basically beome resigned to the fact that they are there to stay. I'd love to try these products to see if they will help.

It’s like this trial team is made for me! I have keratosis pilaris on not only my arms but also my belly and bum. The only thing that has worked for me is a prescription cream so I would love to see if this works!

I suffer from eczema on my face, it can be such a pain especially during a flare up. I do find it difficult to find products to suit and that wont aggravate my eczema. I would love to try these out.

22nd July, 2022

I don't suffer from either of those. I'll be keen to see how well the products work for people who do.

I love Cerave and i have keratosis pilaris + roseacea so I would absolutely be the perfect fit for this trial team! I have found that the Cerave night cream is nice and hydrating but haven't tried their other products. I'd be very interested to see if these ones make a difference!

I suffer from both eczema and keratosis on different parts of my body. I am yet to find a decent cleanser to help me smooth out my skin so I’d be thrilled to give this a go and share my experience with it !
