Do you use a kabuki brush?

We're faking it til we make it this week a Beauty Review - and one of the quickest and easiest ways to add a subtle glow to your usual makeup look is to add a bronzer.

And the best way to apply your bronzer is to use a Kabuki Brush. Named after the Japanese theatre where Kesho performers used them to apply the white powdered rice to finish their stage makeup.

Kabukis are usually short and stubby, with bristles that curve into a dome shape.  They'll be soft and fluffy, perfect for blending any type of face powder evenly.

We're looking for 20 members to put Moisture Mist's Bronzer and ZA Kabuki Brush to the test!

Moisture Mist is specially formulated for NZ women and the Moisture Mist Bronzer is suitable for all skin types - you can use it on top of your foundation or BB cream, or even over your bare skin!

The ZA Kabuki Brush is 'The most beautiful kabuki in the world' according to BR Zoe and when teamed with the Moisture Mist Translucent Pressed Powder Bronze it's just perfect! The handy compact is perfect for on-the-go touch ups, to keep your skin glowing.

So if you'd like a spot on this amazing trial team, why not tell us your experiences of kabuki brushes - do you use one regularly or have you never even heard of them?  What do you like about your current brush and what do you wish it did better?

Get chatting below, we might just send you this amazing duo to try!

That brush is to die for! I do use a normal powder brush but haven't used a Kabuki before - would be interested to see how it compares

I use the ELF one currently for my pressed powder, would love to try this one as well as the bronzer too, its been on my wish list after Shaaanxo reviewed it.

Yes... nothing beats a Kabuki brush for contouring and perfect coverage.. they're soft, and pick up just the right amount every time . Mine began to shed until a friend told me to pop it in the freezer every so often, which I now do... and its still going strong!!

I have heard of them but never brought one. They sound seriously amazing though reading through the comments. So sick of the bronzer brush I'm using at the moment all the bristles fall out and stick to your face. Horrid!!

I have a kabuki brush that is absolutely horrible sheds all over my face and leaves me looking like a bearded lady! Despite this I use it regularly as its all I have! I like the fact that you can get a flawless finish with a Kabuki what I don't like is the fact that mine sheds so results in me picking off the excess hairs off my face and sometimes ruining my finish! The fact that this kabuki looks like a cherry blossom (I am obsessed with all things Japanese) and looks incredibly soft has me sold. I would LOVE to be chosen to trial this.. Bronzer is an essential in my glowy face regime.

I haven't tried one yet but I'd sure like to????

To be completely honest, I have never heard of these brushes! Terrible! I need to give it a go....

I've always wanted to try a kabuki brush! I've heard a lot about them recently and was just looking at buying one. So I might wait till after this trial before I buy one to see if this one is any good. I must say that I do love the look of this brush, its looks so cute with the white and pink. I've heard a kabuki brush is really good for blending foundation and contouring out. I usually use a stippling brush and a buffing brush for my foundation (or even fingers when I'm lazy!), so I'd be interest to see what a kabuki brush is like.

I've never tried a kabuki brush, I just have a normal brush which I only use for bronzer, is on its last legs though.

I had something similar years ago but it got lost somewhere and I've never had another one. It does look very cool and would be interesting to try out

No but that looks really inviting. I do apply bronzer but use it as a highlighter along the cheek line, haven't really thought about applying it all over the face.

That brush looks too cute to use with makeup. I had not heard of these before... still not entirely sure that I know what it is exactly :o

I love my nutrimetics kabuki brush. It gives a nice light coverage, but I wish it could do a heavier coverage better. Would so love to trial this wonderful bronzer and kabuki. The shape of it is real interesting...

I haven't used a Kubuki brush or any branded brush really. I have only ever bought cheap and nasty ones from the Gold Coin shops which are no good, only because I don't have the fund at the moment. I think it's time to splash out and get some though I have heard nothing but good things about the Kabuki brushes! This one is uber cute and can't wait to see what the reviews say about it!

Ive got a bare minnarels kabuki brush but I dont ofte n use it as its nit the softest brush feels quite scratchy so would love to try a different one:-)
