Squeal! Today's trial product is so beautiful we don't want to let it go!
Confession! I hadn't heard of this trial product before working for the Beauty Crew three years ago. And there's a really good reason for that - I'm from England! And this brand is specially formulated for New Zealand women by prestige beauty brand Shiseido.
Moisture Mist's iconic foundation Beauty Cake is loved by Kiwi women for it's long-lasting, fresh-feeling, and easy to use formula. You can opt for sheer or full coverage - the Beauty Cake sponge gives you the control and ease to apply and acheive a nautral finish. The Beauty Cake is suitable for all skin types but is perfect for normal/oily skin as it's really resistant to oil and sweat, meaning it won't slide off your face as the day goes on!
Ok so yes I was once a Beauty Cake heathen, but now it's one of my favourite Kiwi products. And it's become a yearly delight checking out the annual limited edition compact design. See usually the Beauty Cake is beautifully encased in the classy burgandy and gold compact pictured above. But once a year for a little while, Beauty Cake gets a makeover.
And this year is my favourite restyle to date.
The 2016 Moisture Mist Limited Edition Beauty Cake features my favourite bird, the New Zealand Fantail, also known in Māori as the Piwakawaka. When I lived on the beach I had a regular visitor in a friendly fantail, he even flew into my house on occasion, cheet-cheeting away. I reckon it's just the happiest bird ever. This gorgeous gold and silver design make a stunning embellishment on the sleek black compact. Oh me likey. A lot.
We're putting together a trial team who'll be putting the Beauty Cake through it's paces and reporting back to us. If you're selected for this trial team you'll need to let us know the perfect shade for you, so you might want to do your homework and pop in to your local Moisture Mist stockist to be colour matched.
So let's talk Beauty Cake - have you tried it before? Or maybe you're usually a liquid foundation gal looking to try something different? Are you a sucker for LE packaging or does it not impact your purchasing decision? Why would you like to join this trial team? What do you think the Beauty Cake can do for your skin that your current foundation can't?

It depends on what it is.. if it sounds amazing then I will def want to try it asap before its not available! Only prob with limited edition is you almost have to buy more than one as once its run out then you can't get it anymore and that can be a pain if you found it was a really good product
