Life truth - it's harder to maintain one's bodily skin care regime in winter. Assuming, of course, that you're a little or a lot like me and like to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise every inch of your body. The second it gets cold, though, and your bathroom and bedroom feel like a freezer... the urge to spend time beautifying oneself does tend to dwindle...

So what's a gal to do? Use as many in-shower products as humanly possible. So what's on our winter beauty radar? Check these out...

Essano Micellar & Mandarin Gentle Cleanse Body Wash

Essano had us at 'micellar body wash'. Micellar works wonders on removing makeup and grime from the face, why would we not want to put it on our body? Add to that the zesty inclusion of mandarin, and it's a mood-boosting, dirt denying yes from us!

Skinfood Exfoliating Body Bar

Sure, our limbs are mostly wrapped up in winter, but if we don't get our exfoliate on it's going to be a case if Lizard Leg Land come the warmer months. We love that Skinfood's Exfoliating Body Bar is gentle on sensitive skin and affordable to boot (which means we can more easily buy the winter boots we have our eye on!)

Nivea In-Shower Rich Body Lotion

Once you've got your exfoliate on, you'll want to layer up with a touch of moisturiser, and we love that you don't have to freeze your bum off in a chilly room while moisturising, thanks to Nivea's In-Shower Rich Body Lotion. It's an oldie (in beauty world terms) and still a goodie!

Alpha Keri Supple Skin Shower & Body Oil

Prefer an oil over a lotion? Check out Alpha Keri's Supple Skin Shower & Bath Oil. This product actually does double duty and works as a cleanser and a moisturiser. Perfect for if you're in a rush or trying to keep the water/power bill down! Bit of a bath gal? You can pop this is for an extra-moisturising soak. Bliss.

St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Tanning Lotion

Maybe you've an event that requires a bit of arm or leg baring, perhaps you're heading off to warmer climes for a holiday, it could be that you're just a fan of the tan. If adding colour to your limbs is on your agenda, then the St Tropez Gradua Tan In Shower could well be up your alley. Simply cleanse your bod, turn off the shower and apply the tanning solution, wait three minutes, then rinse off with warm water and you're good to go.

There you have it - five fab products to keep your skin in tip top condition over winter, without you having to freeze your toosh off! Are any of these products part of your routine? Will they soon be stocked in your shower? Chat away...

Perfect for the cold months =D

I love my early morning showers as it is time for myself as well as a bit of indulgence using products that not only clean well but make me feel good. I have used the Nivea In Shower before and it does smell nice, however I'm super fussy and prefer citrus or minty scents which are invigorating and wake me up. A citrus/coffee gel wash with more of a scrub type consistency would be amazing. Any recommendations?

Skinfood exfoliating body bar is a staple for me - so so good!

I must admit I’ve missed a step or two here and there, on cooler mornings. But generally stick with routine.

I've tried the Skinfood bar and the Nivea in shower and I like them both :)
