You wouldn't know it to look at me - because to look at me I am L'il Miss Neutral - but despite my clothing colour palette of blue, white, grey, olive and shades of brown, I am a glitter junky. If it sparkles, if it shines, I'm transfixed. In fact, a day doesn't go past where something shimmery and glittery isn't on my eyelids - except no one can tell due to my lids being of the hooded variety. But I know the glitter's there, and boy does it make me happy. What made me even happier was reading that 2018 is the year of glitter! So if you've been hiding your light now's the time to shine!
An easy spot to reveal your inner magpie is your nails. Whether it be toenails or fingernails a dash of sparkly polish will pretty them up and catch the eye of other fellow magpies! We love the shade 'Comet' from Kester Black.

I'm so glad that this year is going to be the year of glitter, a great reason to simply embrace and celebrate one's inner glitter child. I have only just managed to get my hands on some glitter flip gloss which is pretty kool because the glitter effect increases when you smack your lips together. I think I need to go back to Mecca Cosmetica and check out their other glittery products, my nails could do with a splash of glitter as well.
