Winged eyeliner - when it's done right it's simply exquisite. Sleek, crisp lines, perfectly filled and expertly flicked.  You'll look polished, classy and feminine.

When it's done wrong it's a beauty nightmare. Uneven lines, crazy thick wings because you've been 'evening up' both sides, or patchy filling in. If you're suffering any of these winged eyeliner faux pas there really is no choice but to reach for the eye-makeup remover and start again.

It's no wonder so many of us are too scared to include eyeliner in our look!

We're putting Za Gel Eyeliner to the test.  The convenient, easy-to-use pencil-form gel eyeliner achieves bold, defined lines with an ultra smooth texture. The intense, beautiful line lasts and lasts.

We need 20 people to give this a whirl and report back - does this sound like something you'd like to try?  Then when not comment below and tell us about your eyeliner skills.  Do you have skills to pay the bills or is your wing very much left wanting?  Is mastering eyeliner your 2015 beauty goal?

At my age of 47 I still can not master the winged eyeliner, having hooded eyes means at the corner of my outer eye I have a crease and when I try the cat eye with black eyeliner there is a break in my skin where the crease is,I can not master it like these young girls can, would love to try thou, there is a way round it ,to just line over the crease in feathered strokes

I'm still trying to master the wings.. Mine only seem to work when it's 10 at night and I'm practicing before bed -.-

Def still need to practice this lots as not really working out how it should

I always get on side different to another, or scratch my self with a blunt pencil. But perhaps more practice and a new eyeliner may make a difference!

nearly a pro but wanting to trial this product to see if its better than my current one.

I can put on eyeliner, but it varies. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. I definitely want to get better and have watched so many youtube videos on how to put on liner

I would so love to try this! I've heard this eyeliner is awesome. I'm not a pro, but would like to be, especially you got a great liner to pratice with. :)

I can do the basics, but haven't quite mastered the wing. Don't think I'm too far off though, I don't quite get panda eyes which is always good lol. I use a liquid eyeliner so would love to try this gel one!

Yes I can say it's easier then I thought but don't do it often, still trying to find the best 1 to work with though so would love to give this one a go.

I am far from mastering the art and go through stages of practice and giving up however a couple of days ago I had a pin up themed party to go to and whats pin up without that perfect winged eyeliner. The end result was actually ok but the process of getting there was a mess plenty of mistakes and washing of and starting over anything to make the task bearable sounds amazing

I love eyeliner and weirdly prefer/can better control liquid eyeliner - I find pencils smudge slip and slide all over the show! So I'd love to try this formula out to put it to test

27th April, 2015

I feel like I have my eyeliner nailed when I use a liquid formula and a fine brush. I still feel clumsy with a pencil though!

I definitely find one eye easier than the other! However I find if I do my hardest side first and then match the other to that I get pretty good results! So far I have preferred using a thin makeup eyeliner brush with a water based or gel based eyeliner from a pot. i haven't found a product which I have loved with a built in brush or one supplied (these always tend to be too wide for my liking!).

I would love to change my opinion and find a product that was brush/product all-in-one, this would be great for when I am away from home!

I'm getting better at doing eyeliner. I can only do the basics. Would love to try this eyeliner, it seems like it would glide on easy.

I'm wondering if this eyeliner will work on Asian/monolid eyes. Pencil-type eyeliners always transfer to the upper portion of my eyelid unless I apply eyeshadow over it. I only use gel or liquid eyeliners for winged eyeliner.
