Winged eyeliner - when it's done right it's simply exquisite. Sleek, crisp lines, perfectly filled and expertly flicked.  You'll look polished, classy and feminine.

When it's done wrong it's a beauty nightmare. Uneven lines, crazy thick wings because you've been 'evening up' both sides, or patchy filling in. If you're suffering any of these winged eyeliner faux pas there really is no choice but to reach for the eye-makeup remover and start again.

It's no wonder so many of us are too scared to include eyeliner in our look!

We're putting Za Gel Eyeliner to the test.  The convenient, easy-to-use pencil-form gel eyeliner achieves bold, defined lines with an ultra smooth texture. The intense, beautiful line lasts and lasts.

We need 20 people to give this a whirl and report back - does this sound like something you'd like to try?  Then when not comment below and tell us about your eyeliner skills.  Do you have skills to pay the bills or is your wing very much left wanting?  Is mastering eyeliner your 2015 beauty goal?

I'd love to master this technique! I can never get my eyes to look the same and usually end up with one thicker than the other. I'd love to be able to get this right!

I love using gel liner as it so much more easier because I never really enjoyed using a felt tip. I found that using gel eyeliners you can get different shapes and sizes simply by changing you brush. Gel eyeliners are also easier to control in my opinion and I get the best wing out of it

Honestly, one eye is always better than the other. it doesn't matter how much time I spend on trying to get them right they always end up so wrong! I've been contimplating on weather to get some wing guides but then what bran do I use? Then again could it just be my cheap liquid eyeliner & cruddy brush or my terrible knowledge in how to even apply it? I'm thinking all of the above!! I need a little help, if this magical gel eyeliner can help me get even slightly closer to perfecting the wing then I'll be happy to buy it from here on!

I'm usually ok, but no expert! I'm wanting to try out some new eyeliners to see what gives me the most defined line. I'm really keen to try out a gel eyeliner because they seem to leave a really dark, dramatic, smooth like - pencil form sounds great because I can't be bothered using a pot and brush!

I try all the time, one eye is always perfect and the other one is a disaster!

I cannot do my eyeliner very well. I used to look like a panda but at least now I look semi-okay but I still have a very, very long way to go before I have mastered it. I try doing it at least once a week, because well practice will eventually make perfect! :)

I bought some gel eyeliner after a lady at the FTC fashion counter demonstrated it on me but...like many things that look great when a pro does it when I tried (and tried) at home I just looked insane! :D a pencil style liner might be easier to accurately apply since those fine co-ordination hand/wrist muscles are highly developed from writing cheques...

I mastered my winged eyeliner by using my Benefit they're real! push-up eyeliner. It's amazing and would definitely recommend it to anyone who struggles with eyeliner.

would love to trial it as the ones I have used so far are either too soft and give a smokey look or stick to my eyelashes and make it difficult to put my mascara on. Please let me try then I will be your forever if it works for me

I think I look ok til I see photos then it looks like I have black eyes, would like to try again because I have given up on eyeliner

I love winged eyeliner and 9/10 times I can perfect it. I've been struggling lately though I think I need a new eyeliner that's why.

22nd April, 2015

I wear eyeliner when going out however I am far from a pro. Would love to find a liner that is easy to apply!

22nd April, 2015

I am terrible at eyeliner haha, and I also only use liquid really, have only tried gel a couple of times, and never before in a pen!

22nd April, 2015

I am still yet to master the perfect flick, I do one very well but struggle to get the other one the same. They say practice makes perfect, I think it comes down to the eye liner. would love this trial opportunity

22nd April, 2015

my eyelining skills are not so good. they aren't a perfect as I would wish and I would really like to try a product that can help and support a better finish and more accurate line when applying eye liner.
