What do you think of nail wraps?

We know our members love nail polish.  When our Nail of the Week was on hiatus we were frequently asked where it was, would we be bringing it back.  And of course, we did.  Well this week we want your opinion on a different nail look - and this time it isn't a nail polish, laquer or even enamel!

Nail wraps are an increasingly popular way of creating a stunning nail look without needing a steady design hand.  They're so popular there's even a WIkipedia article on them!  Nail wraps are self adhesive 'stickers' commonly made of thin plastic or vinyl.  They generally last for up to 2 weeks on fingernails and have been known to last several months on toenails.

Manicare Glam Nail Wraps come in packs of 2 designs and contain 40 pieces - that's enough to create four complete manicares, or countless feature nails.

Tell us your experience of nail wraps - are you a convert?  Maybe you use them to enhance your polish look, or maybe to creat a feature nail or tip?  How easy do you find them to apply and how well do they wear?  Or are you completely new to the concept?

I love using these for special events. I'm pretty good at applying nail polish, but nail art designs are completely out of my league. These nail wraps can get pretty cheap on special, and are totally worth it if you're wanting that little bit extra!

I've found that the Sally Hansen ones are great! Though they tended to wear around the edges. Would love to try the Manicare ones to see if they last better.

Im a fan of Gel Polish. so if these work and last Id be totally keen to try them!!

I've tried the Sally Hansen ones once before and they were OK for a couple of days and then started peeling completely off. They're a nice novelty item and it's awesome that you don't have to wait for them to dry, but i'm not a huge fan and they were a bit of a mission to put on correctly and find the right size for each of your nails, if the sizes weren't a perfect fit they wouldn't look that good and some would also rip during application.

I have seen these but have been afraid to spend money on them... very interested to see how they review or trial them myself ;)

These are something that I haven't tried but have heard great things about, a friend had some on one day and they looked amazing

They look fantastic, if they are as easy to use as stated and last that long, they'll be on my "must have" list.

I love nail wraps! I have tried them once before they were on sale so I gave them a go. They were better than I thought they were really easy to put on and they looked great! They also lasted longer than normal nail polish I think it was two weeks before they started coming off. I think there actually a great idea :)

never tried them but very intrigued!

I would love to try these! I have weak nails so most nail polish starts chipping off and looks awful after a few days. Also I suck at applying it myself so these seem like the perfect solution for me.

Never tried them by totally keen! Anyone know if they are difficult to apply?

I love doing my nails, it always makes me feel that little more dressed up and I am always keen to give something new a go.

I have tried another brand. Love how easy they are to apply and fantastic that there isn't any dry time. The brand I tried lifted from the nail free edge quite fast so would like to try this brand to see if they wear longer.

I've been wanting to try these for ages, the concept sounds good and so easy! Two weeks without having to redo my nails would be awesome! I would love to try them out.

I love decorating my nails but hate how long nail polish takes to dry and the precision needed for pretty nail art so these sound amazing! I've tried Sally Hansen ones before but I don't like all of their designs so am definitely on the lookout for good nail wraps at the moment :D Exciting!
