Poll posted by BR Natalie

***THIS TRIAL OPPORTUNITY IS NOW CLOSED***

If you read the title to this poll thinking; "Solid shampoo?  How can shampoo be solid?!".  Be prepared to go back to school!

We're putting Sorbet's Sensational Solid shampoos to the test.  And there's a bar for every hair type.  We'll be looking for trialists to put one of these four ranges to the test:

  • Damage Control - The perfect shampoo for mildly dry/damaged hair.
  • Frizz Wrangler - For those of you who abuse your hair with hot irons, curlers, hair dryers or bleach.
  • St Clements - This bar will balance oil production, clean the scalp and freshen your hair up.
  • Heali Kiwi - Great for dandruff sufferers, people with psoriasis or most other scalp problems. Will calm irritated scalps, prevent flakiness and kill the microbes that can cause problems.

Why go solid?

  • They're super concentrated and last much longer than a bottle of shampoo.  Some bars can last up to 6 months!
  • Because they last longer and money doesn't go on fancy packaging, they're cheaper in the long run.
  • The lack of packaging and chemicals makes them very kind to the environment!  All Sorbet ingredients and wrappers are biodegradable.
  • Solid bars don't have much (if any) water, which means they need very few (again, if any) preservatives
  • They contain lots of pure ingredient like coconut oil, cocoa butter, kiwifruit seed oil and essential oils.

How do you use solid shampoos?

  • To use a shampoo bar you just need to slide the bar down wet hair 3-4 times, lather with hands and rinse.  It's that simple!

If you'd like to put your hand up for this trial team why not tell us your experience with solid hair care - have you tried a solid shampoo before?  How did you find it?  And if you haven't tried one before, why do you want to?  And most importantly - which one of the four products we'll be trialing would best fit your hair needs?

Wow this sounds like me!! I've never tried a solid shampoo before! St Clements sounds perfect for me :) I have oily hair and can't seem to find a shampoo that helps my hair out, would love to try this out!

I never knew such a product existed - another great reason I joined Beauty Review. Damage Control would help my summer-damaged locks.

I bought one once on the internet because I liked the fact it was natural and it lasted ages and lathered up real nice

I would love to try the damage control as colouring my hair I always try to use products that will keep my hair healthy. I have never seen solid shampoo but I am sure it would be much easier that tipping bottles -just like a cake of soap -I t sounds really great

I have never heard of solid shampoo. I would love to try the Heali Kiwi Shampoo. Every other anti dandruff shampoo I have used work for awhile and then its like my head gets used to the product. I love the fact that it is made from pure ingredients. I also see that it lasts longer than other Shampoo.................. just what i need especially with three kids that are constantly tipping over our bottled ones and wasting alot of the product :)

I have heard of these and always wanted to try one but just never got around to it.I have read some pretty good reviews about them online and I think it would be great to trial one as I don't seem to be having much luck with any shampoos lately. My hair would probably need the Frizz Wrangler since it's quite frizzy and dry looking.Pick me pleaseeeeeee :)

i have not tried solid shampoo before but would love to try it, i feel the shampoo and conditioner i usually use has alot of preservatives so would love to try a more natural approach

I have actually seen solid shampoo bars and can't wrap my head around how they would work so I have never spent the money to buy one - sure is fascinating! I would pick Heali Kiwi, I suffer from dandruff and itchy scalp if I'm not using the correct shampoo to deal with that.

A solid shampoo, can't say I've ever heard of one. I know way way back my grandparents used to use solid ( I assume soap) to wash their hair. I'd give this a try for sure. :)

This sounds so great! I have a really itchy scalp and most shampoos are quite irritating so the Heali Kiwi sounds like the perfect product. It would be amazing to find a product that actually works for me! Also the environmentally friendly packaging is wonderful too.

Never even heard of this??!? Super concentrated, hmmm wonder if that would help a super moist scalp ??

I have extremely long hair and I go through Sampo and conditioner like toilet paper! Would love to try an alternative to the normal to see if it works for my hair type and to see if it delivers the same effect as shampoo /conditioner does.

I have never heard of Solid Shampoo, but it really sounds like something I would love to try. I go through Shampoo and Conditioner crazy fast (I have quite thick hair, just past my shoulders), so solid shampoo sounds appealing to me due to the minimal packaging, and the fact that you just slide along the hair several times and then lather. First choice would be to try Heali Kiwi, and then perhaps Frizz Wrangler.

I highly recommend this brand - have been using it for years now!
