****This trial opportunity has closed****

When you read literally thousands of reviews a week, you pick up on products that every gal has at least tried.  You also read the term 'holy grail' a lot.

Nars Orgasm, Benefit They're Real Mascara, Urban Decay Naked, Estee Lauder Doublewear, e.l.f Studio Brow Kit.  Scroll through the reviews for these products and you'll find the term Holy Grail.   Now it's not hard to spot the odd one out in this line up of usual (and high end) suspects, which begs the question  - can a cheap product really hold its own against the big boys?

 Here's the official product blurb for the e.l.f Studio Brow Kit;

Create brows that are fuller, thicker, and more defined! The pigmented wax defines and shapes brows and the color complementing setting powder keeps them looking arched and perfected. The doubled sided taklon brush has one side to help arch your brows while the other side aids in filling them in. This duo provides lasting color definition for a naturally beautiful look.

According to our reviewers this brow kit is worth paying more than the $10 price tag it boasts - and how often can you honestly say that about a product?  Here's a list of just a few of it's virtues;

  • I have had mine for nearly 8 months now, and I am only coming to the end of it.
  • The angled little brush it comes with is amazing to use with the gel side, it is sturdy and amazing at creating nice crisp lines!
  • I love the formula of both the wax and the powder. They are both super duper pigmented.
  • For the price of this kit I was blown away.
  • The gel is perfect for filling in the gaps of sparse brows, or just touching up the little gaps in fuller brows
  • This is going to be your new best friend! I cannot live without this product. It is so easy to apply.
  • I now look back at my previous pictures on social media where I have used pencil to fill in my brows with horror. Never planning on living without this product again!!

And the list goes on!

Well we want to see what one trial team makes of it - is it really as good as they say?  Can cheap and cheerful really translate as 'holy grail'?

If you'd like to find out why not put your hand up below.  Maybe you're new to brow kits and don't know where to start? Or maybe you're currently using an unfriendy-to-your-pocket product and want to compare?  And if you've already used the e.l.f Studio Brow Kit why not tell us about your experience - is it your go-to brow product?  Did it rock your world and would you ever go back to more expensive brow kits?

I would love to give this a go! Sometimes if my eyebrow pencil is a bit warm it can go on way too thick! I'm a fan of the more natural looking brows

This looks fabulous for my thinning, nearly hairless in places, brows. Pencil looks fake so this would have a more natural look. Keen to give it a go.

I wasn't blessed with good brows, this could be just the thing to give them a bit of oomph! Always open to trying something new :)

Trying to tame my willful (fearsome!) brows with an eyebrow pencil was an exercise in futility. The look was less Dita von Teese and more Jessica Rabbit! A friend recommended Benefit's excellent product but I chickened out at the price. I have been using the Natio brow kit which I am pleased with, but was thinking next time I will grit my teeth and shell out for the real deal. Looks like there may be another contender and at that price, what am I waiting for?

I have been trying to get my hands on this for months!! Every time I go to Kmart it's sold out :( I haven't searched online because I don't want to pay the hefty price of shipping! My eye brows are in need of a product like this. Fingers crossed I can find it next time I pop into Kmart

I would love go try gnus as I have used power and it goes everywhere am currently using pencil and it is ok

The only thing I have ever done to my brows is one odd hair pulled, for some probably aging reason it decided to grow to stupid lengths. This is a whole new education for me!

Funny! I randomly put this wee gem in my cart while I was ordering a different product online last week. I've only used it a few times but it does give a good brow depth, if that makes sense? It darkens them very subtly, so you can get quite a different looking brow without it being obvious or looking like Crunchie the Clown. :)

Oh my giddy Aunt! This sounds perfect! I just plucked my eyebrows this morning and was looking in dismay at the sparseness and the gaps where I'm willing the hair to grow. I use a powder at the moment (combined with a comb and some positive thought!) to define my brows, but this doesn't really make it too easy to create a defined shape and I find pencils can make my brows look a little fake and over-done. I'd never even heard of eyebrow waxes until I read this piece….I'm definitely intrigued!

I am loving brow week! I have always been a brow nazi when it comes to shape and size... but I have never used brow pencil or anything! I am really keen to give it a go, and all this info is helping so much.. thanks BR!

Yes Please! This could be the Brow product I have been looking for! Unfortunately I'm not blessed with good brows, I try and practice as much as I can. I just haven't found the right product yet (I have been using eyeshadow). However I have heard so many great things about this! Would love the opportunity to try this out xx

I've heard great things about this product, but every time I go to buy it its sold out! or they only have the Ash shade. Really keen to give this one a go.

I have heard amazing things about it.

Never purchased myself. Have always wanted to trial.

I have only used powder or pencil, I do love the slicked look of the gel brows.

This is a completely new thing for me. Apart from keeping my brows tidy, I have never really given much thought to 'styling' them. This is surprising for me really, given that I'm pretty excessive with the eye makeup for everything else. I'm very curious to read more and give this a try.

I'm the same. I just wax & pluck. I do have fuller brows but from reading all the articles this week I'm wondering if I'm missing out....
