Summer has ended.  (Did it ever really start?!) Which means we'll be swapping our self tanned legs for woolly leggings, our beautifully painted toe nails will be covered with boots and our glowing bare arms will be hidden under long sleeves.

Autumn can feel like the beginning of a long goodbye to tanned skin, but it doesn't have to be.  It could be the start of a new addition to your skincare routine - the gradual tanner.

We're putting two St. Tropez Self Tan Purity Vitamins to the test; a Bronzing Water Mist for your body and a Bronzing Water Serum for your face.

These gorgeous products are clean and natural tanning waters powered by Vitamins C & D to give you a radiant golden glow.  They even boast an 'instant feel good factor'... who doesn't need that?!

The St. Tropez Purity Vitamins Body Mist lets you spritz and glow in just three hours!  It has an elongated spray to disperse the tanning water evenly over skin to give a beautiful powder finish for instant absorption and the fastest, easiest application.

The St. Tropez Purity Vitamins Face Serum is a supercharged and weightless tanning concentrate that has a light, silky texture.  It hydrates and smooths the complexion leaving your skin radiant.

Both products are Dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive skin, with a 100% natural tanning active and 100% clean and Vegan friendly formula.

St. Tropez's unique Sunshine Complex mimics the effects of Vitamin D that you would normally get from sunlight exposure leaving you feeling good.  Combine that with Vtiamin C and you'll re-texturise & improve your skin tone for a brighter, more radiant & even tan that lasts.

The blend of powerful antioxidants and moisturisers brighten, protect & hydrate for up to 72 hours to enhance your tan, while the tropical fragrance is proven to lift your mood!

We know, this is one of those Trial Teams that everybody will want to join.  So, here's what you need to do:

I’ve used a few different gradual tans before. In particular I’ve tired the isle of paradise gradual tan and the Dove gradual tan

As the woman with the whitest legs in the world, I am defintely putting up my hand for the St. Tropez Purity Vitamins Body Mist, if no other reason than to allow the people around me to remove their sunglasses from the bright glare that is my legs ;0 Seriously ... I have used gradual tanner moisturisers before, and on the whole I like that effect and look more than an 'instant' fake tan, so would love to see how this one works.

The last tanner I used was a spray can sprayer it was messy. I’m not putting my hand up for this one.

I’m such a fake tan fan!!!!! I’ve used fake tan since the mid 90’s and wow, have they come along way!! St tropez will know what I’m talking about! This new product line sounds amazing. Gradual tanning is such a good source of self care. I love the idea of a tropical scent too and a face version.

Now this is something different! Really excited to try something that keeps a warm golden glow for winter without adding an extra step. I have tried gradual tanning items but they always feel too rich on the skin and the smell annoys me enough to not sleep well.

Wow the face serum sounds too good to be true! I’ve never like to have to choose between putting in my anti aging products or my tanner on my face so to have both in the one products is great!

Hmmmmmmmmmm not very successfully. Some varieties still have a wiffy smell and some are no good on freshly shaved legs oouuccchy. Always open to try something new, especially from a tanning specialist company rather than a moisutrising company branching out to a new product.

Gradual tanners have come along way since the 1980's when I 1st used them. I'm a huge fan of the St Tropez Express mousse & was lucky to be picked for the trial. Due to the intensity of the sun here I try not to expose myself to the sun, being fair skinned but I love a bit of colour I feel so much happier for it. I was eyeing up the facial mist the other day to try it so to get a place on the trial team would be awesome as my face always get left out as I don't normally tan it

I love gradual tanners as they look more natural on my skin. I also like how once the colour is where you want it, you can reduce use to not look like an Oompa Loompah. I've never tried one on my face so this would be cool to try!

I tend to use instant tanners as opposed to gradual. As my tan has worn off due to this non existent summer, I’d love to try a gradual tanner this time!! Love the idea of a mist!!

I say it all the time buuuut - pale natural red here…. I do not tan. Tanning is life. A gradual tan is fantastic to keep the all year “glow” and a top up between total body tans. I am all for a product that is easy to use and does what it says!

30th March, 2023

I’ve used gradual tan a couple of times often to top Up a tan I already have - love the idea of something that takes care of my skin at the same

The body mist sounds amazing! This summer has left me looking so pasty

I am yet to find a gradual tan that I love. Not for lack of trying – I have tried many, in the form of creams/lotion, but never tanning water/mist or serum. Some that I have tried are too thick, too sticky, leave streaky marks, are hard to apply or have a yucky ‘fake-tan’ fragrance.

My skin is very pale, so I like to use a gradual tan regularly. But it has to look natural, be lightweight and easy to apply without drying my skin, or looking streaky. The longer lasting, and more hydrating the better!

A pleasant scent is an absolute must.

Something that really draws me to these products is the fact that they have added Vitamins C & D. Great for smooth, glowing skin!

St. Tropez isn’t a brand I’ve used before, but I am always open to giving new brands and products a go.

If both the St. Tropez Purity Vitamins Body Mist – and Face Serum, can build a lovely natural looking colour for me, whilst hydrating my skin.. It could be a game-changer. I would really love to try this!

I have used gradual tan drops before to tan my face. I forget the name of the brand but the first time I used it, I looked like I had smeared my face in brown paint. I quickly learnt to apply a few drops along with my moisturiser to get an even gradual colour build up.
