Foundation.  There are so many different types and shades that you are bound to find one that works for you.  Once you've found your perfect product you need to find the best way to apply it.  And for that there also seems to be an ever growing number of choices!

Brushes, triangular sponges, even your fingertips - the key to a flawless look is not only in the product you choose, but also the way you choose to apply it.  Beauty Blenders exploded in popularity a few years back, and unlike a lot of trends, they haven't gone anywhere.  They've only evolved.

We're putting the Manicare Flawless Complexion Sponge.  This is an all in 1 sponge that'll give you flawless coverage, whether you use it to apply a foundation, BB cream, concealer or any other liquid or cream covered base product.  You can use this non-latex sponge wet for a light coverage and dry for a light coverage.

The sponge has three different 'shaped' surfaces, each allowing you to try a different application process.

1.  Use the flat side to apply foundation (liquid or cream based) to ensure an even coverage. Apply using soft sweeps across the face.

2.  For more coverage, use a pushing technique by gently pushing the sponge into the skin

3.  Use the flat sides for application of concealer under the eyes

4.  Use the rounded end to apply concealer to blemishes or imperfections by gently pushing the sponge into the skin.

5.  Use the sides of the sponge to blend using a push and roll technique, gently pushing the sponge into the skin and rolling it away to help to blend your foundation.

We need 25 people to trial and review this sponge for us - sound like something you'd like to do?

So tell us how do you apply your foundation?  What methods have you tried and what works best for you?  What tips do you have for an even, flawless look?  What product would you apply using the Manicare Flawless Complexion Sponge?

I've never tried a sponge or blender actually! At the moment I use a buffer brush and that works quite well. I can imagine a sponge having a more natural effect though. I've watched all the youtubers using blenders anyway so it's about time I give it a try!

I saw between a sponge or a brush depending on the foundation type. I currently splurge on a beauty bender but would love to find a cheaper alternative.

I absolutely love using beauty sponges to blend my makeup. I feel like the finish is always better since I prefer to go for a more natural base for everyday. I also find sponges to make blending way easier - I've never used it not wet or slightly damp before so it would be interesting see if this actually works when it's dry. I've also never used a sponge for anything else other than foundation and concealer but I'd love to try it for cream products like blush and bronzer.

I've never used one but I'm so fascinated by them! They always seems to have a good result on the vloggers that I've seen use them. I can see myself being converted!!

I prefer a beauty blender to put my fountain on, I even sometimes use it for concealer and powder to get a more flawless finish. Would love to put the Manicare one to the test to see how it stacks up.

I've never used a sponge or a beauty blender but I've wants to try one. I always use a brush, usually a stipple it flat top kabuki brush. I've heard, and seen YouTube videos, that beauty blenders give more coverage and a less cakey look. I'd love to try this sponge and see how it compares to using a brush.

Would love to give this a try.

I use a brush to apply my foundation and BB cream, but would love to try a sponge! Before switching to a brush, I always used my fingers, but that never got an even enough coverage.

I generally use my fingers or a brush to apply foundation but a friend once applied my foundation using a blender and the coverage was flawless. I usually use a bb cream or a light coverage foundation so technique doesn't matter quite so much but I have recently bought a long wear, high coverage foundation which might benefit from the Manicare Flawless Complexion Sponge? wink wink

I am a sponge user.... I loved my previous sponge, but couldn't remember what brand it was. My current sponge soaks up too much foundation and is now starting to crumble - it is a disaster!

Gosh I am a finger applier of foundation. If I am using concealer I tend to use a dabbing motion with my hands as find this works better. This sponge would do a better job all round so would love to try it and see how better a job it does.

I was thinking that this sponge sounds amazing. My dream is to see my face looking amazing by learning how to use things like this sponge. To see you can use it for concealer and as a blender sounds great. I've always said that if I had all the right tools then maybe just maybe I could look amazing. If I have a sponge like this I'm heading in the right direction. Hopefuly I'm picked to trial for the crew and I could use it for foundation and concealer. Thank you so much for the chance to trial this.

I'd love to try a beauty sponge. I still use my fingers to apply foundation as I find it the fastest easiest method but its so messy! I have tried a brush but found it difficult to blend.

I dont use a sponge but i would love to try one. I have tried, fingers, foundation brushes and a flat top stipple brush which ended up my go to. I always use liquid foundation so trying a sponge would be an interesting venture for me !!
