How much does your man look after himself?

The only time my guy will put a product on his skin is when he gets sunburned and then it's only aloe. No moisturizer for sensitive skin, no serum for sensitive skin. Nothing. Around Christmas I won a little travel sample of a facial cleanser. I asked him if he'll use it and he said put it in the shower I might give it a shot. It's a tiny bottle and it's still full. I don't think he's using it, but then since it's not labeled for men maybe I should start using it as I hate things going to waste.

Mine loves Lush products after testing his daughters stash, "Mum I think Dads been using my soap and shampoo cos' the lid is always off" It must of been good because the courier arrived a couple of days later with a new selection lol. He also likes to have a manicure (he's an engineer and welding is a little tough on the skin), and he likes to have a facial. Just as well he has his own products.

My man tries to look after himself and loves trying new products. He often comments about the samples I've received as feels left out cos there is not a man equilivent of beauty review

My man was actually quite a fusspot with his appearance when we met (nearly 9 years ago) - he would only wear brand name clothing/shoes etc (of course he didn't have children either). He was a chef so was nicely shaved also, not sure if he used men's products eg moisturiser, definitely didn't do mani's or pedi's lol. NOW 9 years on, he is stay-at-home Dad to our 2 year old daughter (who's not in any playcentres etc yet, but that's changing soon!) - has a big grizzly fairly unkempt beard, the likes of which would make some of the big rugby player's jealous, he also gets stared out by other guys with beards checking it out HAHA, lives in trackies and t-shirts (has also put on a few pounds). He is, however starting to work out on our X trainer and has told me the beard goes when he gets to a certain weight (which isn't that far off now, but I'm not holding my breath lol). He does have pretty good skin, some of which is natural (being Maori) so is lucky there but could still use some goodies of which I might have to suss out on BR and buy some for him. I do wax/pluck his eyebrows for him as they are quite unruly. There is a Man Salon opened in Dunedin fairly recently - well it's a hairdresser I think but with extras, so might talk him into going in there for a wee go-over hehe

Mine looks after himself well and has for a long time to the point that a lot of workmates don't believe his age. He has always used excellent branded moisturisers. No cleansers but does use a scrub every so often. I introduced my18yr old son to cleansers, scrubs and moisturisers from about when he was 13 but I only get the supermarket brand ones for him. Using something regardless of a brand name is def better than nothing.

My man is the old fashion kind and if I can get him to use the occasionally body gel and once in the old blue moon, even a bit of moisturiser. He is just not that kind of guy. Might be an age thing, I an sure young men are more interested in their personal care. My son takes more time in his personal care than his dad.

thats my man ,two feet in the cave.to be fair he does have senstive skin and to try something new can be a big trial.

I'm married to the original pre-historic caveman - there is no way he would even entertain the thought of applying moisturiser, let alone purchase any! Unless it's for a new tattoo of course, that has the man-factor so it's acceptable. That's what you get for marrying a bushman I guess ;)

My hubby would be at home if it was still cave man days, I gave up buying him "mens stuff" as it never moves from the packaging, he is definitely a deodorant and soap only guy

Since I got my hubby an old school razor that he had wanted for ages for Christmas he has been paying attention to his skin. He read about the benefits of exfoliation for shaving and has started doing that regularly so I have a moisturizer arriving for him soon. I made sure it had MEN on it so that he cant tell me its for girls. I'll keep trying to work new things in if that goes well hehehe!

Mine like Ong's husband is a true blue farmer man. He's rugged and sticks to his body wash and deoderant,. He has been known to sneak my Beauty Box Moisture Mist moisturiser because 'it makes his face smoooooth' his words! I buy him facial mens stuff and all but it sits unused in the cupboard. I got him to start using a Nivea Men scrub before shaving so we have a bit of progress here! Fingers crossed it continues because his skin feels yummy since using it

My husband has his own products. Moisturiser and eye cream but occasionally he nicks my cleanser :) he does love Dr Hauschka toner as an after shave soother

My man does nothing :(

My partner wouldn't go to the shop just to buy products but he does use the products that I've brought him though

My hubby's the original Kiwi Bloke, a shower, shave combs hair, that's it. Doesn't like any form of moisturisers, after shave, not even hand lotion. He doesn't even like to use deodorant. His only concession to using a product is Chapstick and sunblock cream.
