How would you shade your eyebrows?

Poll posted by BR Natalie

Last time we voted on eyebrows the camps were pretty much even.  54% of you told us that you pluck and tidy your eyebrows, but not much more.  The other 46% are more attentive, regularly shading or tinting them too.

Eyebrow's seem to be the latest body part taking off, with more and more products and treatments aimed at giving us the elusive perfectly arched brow.  If you haven't heard of the "scouse brow" you might want to quickly visit your friend Google, but be warned; your eyebrows may leap off of your head in fear.

So when it comes to eyebrow colour and shaping would you prefer the professional touch?   How often would you visit the salon to keep your brows defined?  Would you ever opt for the more permanent solution of tattoing your eyebrows on?  Or are you a strictly DIY girl, and if you were to give shading a go, would you prefer to be the one weilding the colour?

Natio have released their Brow Kit which contains all the "essential tools for smooth, perfect brows in one easy-to-carry compact".  This handy kit is comprised of two Brow Powders that can be blended to create the perfect shade; Brow Wax to groom and hold hair in place; a Slanted Brow Brush to shade and sculpt, a Round Grooming Brush to smooth brows; Tweezers, and a Mirror.

Tell us your thoughts on eyebrow trends, salon treatments and brow kits below!

I tweeze and shape my own brows, but when it comes to colouring, I would have to visit a salon! Too close to my eyes, I'd be worried I'd end up blinding myself!

This looks very cool - I have just got one very similar and I'm pretty happy with the results. It came with a stencil kit also which is great. My eyebrows are very fine so with the stencil I can create pretty much whatever shape I want and I enjoy experimenting, if it doesn't work out you can just wipe them off! I would love to get mine tattooed on but I'm not confident enough with the therapists we have in my town so haven't taken the leap yet.

I can shade my own eyebrows - that's something I can manage !! I just use a pencil though. I get my eyebrows plucked at a salon, becasue my shaping is well...not so great, in fact it is tragic....

Im a beauty therapist so I do them myself and shading is a must in the mornings!

This has always been something that has been suggested to me as a package when I get my eyebrows done so it has never occurred to me that I could do it myself however I would be keen to give it a go.

I'm a salon girl usually, I'm to scared to give it a go myself. Having said that, if it could save me a few pennies, I'm in!

I was just looking at this product today in the local pharmacy. It really does look amazing. I never really used to be interested in my brows but lately that seems to be changing. I have noticed that I have just a few small patches where there are less hairs so this would (hopefully) work perfectly for me. I love that my eyebrows are so natural but they really do need an extra bit of help every now and again!

I do my own tidying at home now, cant afford to do it at the salon as a regular thing now, but it is such a treat. Shading my brows would be perfect for me, they are so much fairer than my hair colour, they look non existant in most photos unless my hair is blonde, and are pretty sparce. I just havent wanted to end up with brows that look drawn on with a pencil

I've used both pencils and powders and waxes, I like them both. They give slightly different looks. Never used Natio before though.

I will occasionally get back to the original look with a salon visit, but honestly I like when I do my brows. As for shading, I colour my brows everyday, it's a must because they are so fare. I do normally use a mix of pencil and powder. I find using a pencil gives a stronger look and the powder returns it to a more natural state.

I have very blonde eyebrows, so I tint mine, and then fill in with a pencil if needed, I find it really hard to find a good eyebrow product that's natural looking.

I have tried to use a pencil before with failure, I have found it hard to match anything to my eyebrows and I think pencils are just too harsh. I have been recommend and heard about the ELF kit which is similar to this being amazing so when I saw this just pop up on my feed I got super excited! I love perfectly groomed brows and am an avid preacher of threading but just have NO luck with finishing them off with filling them in. I would love to be chosen for this trial so I can put this product to the test with a clean open perspective as I have never tried a product like this before! x

I have quite strong, dark brows and so I get them shaped from time to time. What I really need is a product which grooms them into place and defines the arch. Have used gel up till now but sometimes that leaves a gummy residue. This product sounds ideal!

I would love to try a brow kit!

I'm awful at shaping my eyebrows, so I always get them threaded at a salon. But as for filling in/shading, I've used the NYX Eyebrow kit and I just could not get along with it! I don't fill in my eyebrows generally because I haven't found the right product, but I know how much of a difference it can make to your face and am on the lookout for the perfect product currently.
