Best part of working at BRHQ? Discovering new looks and styles. Or old looks and styles that we’re falling in love with all over again. Or, in a nutshell, looking at beautiful hair and makeup. Even better we love that adding a simple hashtag followed by a word on Instagram can introduce us to looks we might never have seen before, pretty, edgy, desirable, cool looks.
This look by salemscissorhands is stunning. Elegant, clean and the hair looks so soft that I want to stroke my screen to see if it feels as good as it looks. (Yeah, that’s a bit creepy….) I also love that in a post just a tad down further on her feed she mentions that this kind of hair takes a lot of money and patience to create, and at times it’s not even possible on some heads of hair. You’ve got to love that kind of honesty.

This shot on hair_danisman’s Instagram feed is pure Lagertha (from Vikings), and we’re loving it. So wild. So fierce. So beautiful.

With a pinky, purply, lilac ombre going on and those masses of curls, this hair shouldn’t be on a human, it should be on a futuristic Disney Princess.
IG: anhcotran
One thing about all this hair inspiration is that it’s very easy to feel like it’s in the too hard basket, not something 90% of us humans could achieve. Then you see a picture like this one from anhcotran and you breathe a sigh of happy relief. A wavy bob that not only looks good, but is achievable too.

And because we can’t forget the blokes, and also because looking at blokes hair is a darn enjoyable perk of the job, this picture from menshairfashion basically had us wondering how many people would give their head of hair to be the barber in this shot…
So do tell, which looks are your favourite? And do you have any Instagram hair folk that we need to be following? Sharing is caring!
