Oh to be magic on the manicure front. To have the steady hand that can create intricate designs, or lay down tiny jewels and specks of glitter just so. Alas, not all of us have the ability, or the patience, to express our artistic selves on our nails and find ourselves haphazardly sploshing on one shade or spending a goodly amount at our local nail salon... until now.
There's a different take on the gradient nail, and we're loving it because it's infinitely doable.
As you can see there's no fancy sponge work or requirement for peel-off latex to be seen. Just one colour family descending from darkest to lightest. What we love about this take on gradient nails is that it's the perfect manicure for those of us who failed art at school! So long as you can colour in the lines (or, if you are handy with a bit of nail polish remover) you can create this look.
Downside? You would need to have quite the collection of polish going on to put a gradient look together. BUT (justification alert!), you can pick up affordable polish, AND once you've got them you can recreate the look loads of times - which in the long run is more affordable than multiple trips to the nail salon.
So, do tell our beauties - Is this your kind of at-home manicure style? What colour family would you get your gradient on with? Chat away!
I love colour family mani's - I like to mix up a mani when I do my nails, so this is totally my style!
