Saturday the 19th of May was a glorious day indeed. A day where one could sit on the couch in their pyjamas, covered with a fluffy blanket and eat their way through various junkfood while watching the then Ms Meghan Markle marry Prince Harry.
It was a glorious spectacle. A-list celebrities, B-list celebrities, sporting stars, Oprah, royalty, randoms who mean nothing to me but wore fascinators and hats that had me wishing I had an event to attend that would warrant wearing one myself. From the early arrivals through to the signing of the documents (okay, I may have tapped out during that bit for a toilet stop...) it was an occasion to remember.
But the best part?
The kiss.
It was what kept me awake throughout the ceremony. I'd have happily gone to bed once I saw the Duchess of Sussex's dress, but no. I needed to see love sealed with two lips meeting each other as husband and wife. Was it worth staying up for? Heck yes! T'was a fairytale ending kiss that one can only dream of.
That kiss took the world by storm, not only that, it inspired a lip look from the incredibly talented Jazmina Daniel. Would you get a load of this...
I mean, seriously, Jazmina rocked this. To be fair, she rocks all the looks she does. Check out her recent Queen B and 'The Craft' looks, then keep on scrolling and feel the awe.
She takes body art to the next level. To create those masterpieces in such minute detail? We can't even imagine how she does it, but we're so glad she does!
One thing's for sure... we really hope the newly minted Duke and Duchess get to see this look, because it's right royally amazing and we think they'd be right royally tickled!
