Is your mature skin dry?

A common factor of ageing skin is dryness. As we age our skin thins, collagen production lessons and we lose oil glands.  All of these factors contribute to increasingly dry skin.  Add to that the fact that dead skin cells do not shed as quickly and the turnover of new skin cells decreases slightly.

Now we're not going to give you the 'prevention is better than cure' lecture again, nor will we tell you again to always use sunscreen.  If your skin is already dry with age, the bottom line is - you're going to need to amp up your moisturising routine and start repairing!

L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Revitalising Day Cream SPF 30 is formulated for mature, dull skin to boost radiance and help prolong skin vitality.  And SPF 30! Thirsty!  How awesome is that?!

We're looking for reviewers to try it out.  If you fancy giving it a go comment below and tell us about your skin.  Do you consider it 'mature' and is it dry?  Have you begun an anti-ageing skin care routine yet or is it now time? Get chatting below!

As im now into my 40s my skin is becoming much drier especially during the colder winter months. I'd love to give this product a try as I am always keen to find a great anti ageing day cream with a high spf coverage.

Would love to review this, just starting to use products for my now mature skin . My skin is dry especially at this time of the year and lots of things just don't work . Would love to find out if this does what the box says

Would definitely want to rate this product by how well it’s selling itself to me! But alas… the advertising is usually a little above and beyond what the product does. I would be interested in trying this to see if it does what it claims

Would love to try this to give my skin the moisture and firmness it needs. My skin is quite dry and is ageing so this would be awesome to try to help slow down the process of aging

My 50+ skin would definately be classed as mature. It does tend to get dry and especially at this time of year during the winter due to a combination of using the heat pump and the fire. My anti ageing routine consists of cleansing and moisturisng twice daily. This sounds perfect and I love that ig contains spf.

I def have patches that few more dry than others and then some days I feel like it’s a bit oily I actually can’t keep up with it lol. Definately feeing the dryness over the cooler days thou and I guess it’s winter now so it will become even more dry on the face.

I would love to try this moisturiser! My skin is dry and I had really good results with L'Oreal's Age Perfect range in the past, so this cream sounds perfect for me.

Hi there, I am always concerned about having more hydration in my skin, as i tend to get a bit dry during winter. As a firm follower of L'oreal skin care, i would love to trial their new products. thanks

I've just turned 40 and I feel like my skin has changed dramatically recently! I'm not sure if 40 is considered mature but I can definitely see and feel the effects of the aging process beginning. It is really quite dry and my usual moisturiser doesn't seem to cut it. I am looking for a new product to try and this would be perfect.

Yes my skin is really dry and I would say at over 70 it is mature so it needs all the help it can get. I have been using miosturisers for more mature skin but would love to trial and review the L'Oreal product

Oh my gosh yes, I have definitely noticed my skin becoming dryer, I turned 50 late last year and am feeling the effects of ageing for sure :( I am having to use a denser moisturizer as my skin sucks it up really quickly!

I hate to admit but I can see my is maturing and I’m not the one who is very good taking care of it. I do have some small patches that always dry, especially near my nose and mouth. I would love to try this product to see if it would improve my skin for the better.

I think I’m probably either considered, or on the cusp of having mature skin (wahhhhhhhhh!). My skin certainly isn’t as oily as it used to be, and with the colder weather it’s showing signs of dryness. It’s hard to know what products to use when you’re no longer “youth” but are trying to keep your maturing skin as youthful as possible!

Sadly my skin is now very ‘mature’!! I am always on the lookout for new products to help my quest to minimise the ageing process so this would be great to try. Now with winter starting I can feel my skin getting thirsty and feeling right even after moisturising. Adding in an SPF is so good as I never remember to use one in winter even though it’s still necessary!
