Is there anything more delicious than the scent of a Christmas tree? Nothing says Santa's on his way quite like that heady pine fragrance wafting round the room, infiltrating even the sunniest summery corners of your home. Downside of a real pine tree? Pine needles that need to be vacuumed on the daily (and this pixie ain't got time for that). Disposing of the tree. Oh, and trying not to kill it. True story - last time we had a real tree by the time it got to Christmas Day mine was a deadish looking hot mess. We then bought a fakey. Downside of a fake tree? There's no scent! What's a girl to do? Get her Christmas candle on!
Check these hotties out...
Fresh pine. The name says it all. Ecoya has hit the nail on the head with this candle. The scent it throws is Christmas in all its present wrapping, carol singing, excitement-on-the-eve glory.
Usually we're all about the Tahaa candle from Glasshouse - but when the silly season starts our attention turns to their Christmas offering, and this year they're blessing us with Under the Mistletoe, a delightful combination of cinnamon, apple and berries. Mental note to self: Don't sniff when it's burning. You don't need a Rudolph nose.
If Christmas lillies leave you feeling festive, but you don't want to deal with the pollen dropping all over the show and staining everything then the Surmanti Christmas Lily is for you! All the goodness of the real deal without the stamen chopping admin.
One of the best bits about Christmas? Christmas parties! And what would a Kiwi Christmas party be without a freshly cut juicy strawberry bobbing about in a glass of bubbles? Keep the party going with this delicious Champagne + Strawberry from Miller Road.
Sweet Orange & Clove from 'Mmm...that's nice!' is warm and spicy and when you close your eyes and breathe in you can almost imagine snowflakes floating from the sky as a fire flickers and crackles in a hearth. It's a white Christmas in seriously stylish packaging.
Mmm I sniffed at the 'mmm... that's nice' range in a local boutique gift store and I must say I am more than tempted :D And Champagne and strawberry Miller road... where do I find these? :D
