What stops you from trying a new look? Is it fear of looking silly? Is it stepping out of your comfort zone? Or does it simply come down to not knowing how to do it?
At BRHQ we firmly believe for a healthy and happy mind you should challenge yourself to learn something new. It was part of the reason we included certain products in March's Beauty Box; because there's nothing more fun than giving people the right tools to do the job and seeing them suceed - and enjoying doing it!
This week's theme is Learn A New Look. We want you to set yourself the challenge to learn a new beauty skill - and we want you to send us pictures of your journey. We're going to select our favourite photos and include them on the brand new Photowall when Beauty Review relaunches later this month. If we use your photo we'll reward you with 50 Beauty Points.

Here's some ideas of new beauty skills to learn:
- Eyeliner - whether it be the type of formula like liquid or gel, or a tecnique like cat's eye, wings or tightlining.
- Lipstick - do you want to learn to overline a la Kylie Jenner, or maybe you want to learn how to create an ombre lip?
- Hair styling - do you want to perfect your blow wave or maybe learn how to do a fishtail braid?
- Nail Art - do you want to try water marbling or how about trying one of our nail art tricks?
- DIY - do you want to learn to make bath bombs or maybe master DIY cosmetics?
And here's some tricks to nailing that new skill:
- Check out blog How Tos or vlog Tutuorials depending on how best you process information.
- Invest in the right tools for the job.
- Practise, Practise, Practise.
- Ask a mate you trust to critique your new look honestly.
- If you're getting frustrated, stop and try again later.
So are you up for the challenge? What new look or skill will you try this week? Tell us below!
Exciting!!! It's a toss between smokey eye and eyeliner. I made a commitment to perfecting my eyeliner this year so that the lines aren't thicker than the size of my finger but would love to get the basics down for a smokey eye so I don't walk out looking like a panda.
