What does your makeup space look like? Is it well ordered and everything has its place? Or is it a bit of a hot mess with stuff randomly slung about and cotton balls dotted all over the show? If you're more of the latter than the former, then it's time to tidy up - not only does it make getting ready more efficient and less stressful (seriously, I've been in that place where I can't find my one and only mascara and was running late, and it's not pretty), but there's also something soothing about having everything in its proper place - and to make that happen you need storage. Yes, you could spend a fortune on buying said storage, or you could DIY or repurpose it. Check out these inspirational ideas!
My heart may well have skipped a beat when I saw this set up from Instagrammer curlsandlashes. What an amazing idea to take the Disney princess Vogue covers (created by fashion illustator and designer Hayden Williams) and turn them into cosmetic and brush holders, complete with matching coloured tops. What I especially enjoy about this is that it can be tailored to your own passions. (Can you imagine how gorgeous vintage sewing pattern designs would look done in this style?)

Take a candlestick, attach a stylish looking jar to it and you've got yourself uber-glamorous containers to hold your cotton buds, balls and wipes. Sublime!
We love this repurposing of a file rack from Instagrammer abovediamondsandbeauties. What an gorgeous wya to keep your palettes in place!

Tired of not being able to see the woods for the trees... in a beauty sense? Scour a second hand shop for a vintage cake tray, pop it on your vanity, place your products on it, then step back and pat yourself on the back for a job well done.
If space is at a premium then this could be the ultimate solution fo storing your makeup while still being able to easily see your collection. An old tool chest transformed into a thing of beauty! So impressed. Big claps to you for taking something meh and making it magical, locketpeddler!
Another idea is to turn your collection into a work of art. Take one magnetic board. Make it your own by painting and decorating it. Hang it up. Attach magnets to your makeup. Arrange on board. Boom. Storage solution sorted.
Some awesome creative ideas there! Mine is organised at the moment but can become chaotic at the drop of a hat.
