Safe to say, 2015 was the Year of Micellar. The beauty world went gaga for this magical cleansing water. Last year's trial team for Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water was one of our hottest of the year - everyone wanted to try it!
But unlike a lot of trends, Micellar is here to stay. Take Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water for example - almost 400 people have reviewed it and it holds an average rating of 4.3/5! Many members have made the switch, from cleansing creams, foams and gels to cleansing water.
One of the really cool things about the Garnier Micellar out of all the other micellars on the market, is the hefty size of the bottle. 400mls, which is enough for 200 cleanses! For $15! It's such an economical buy that you can get creative and use it in other ways than just a cleanser. Here's some cool uses we've discovered for Micellar Water, other than cleansing your face and removing your makeup!
Make-up Tidy-up - dip a cotton bud in some Micellar Water to tidy your lipstick line, sharpen your eyeliner flicks or remove mascara smudges. I've even used it on a cotton pad to tone down clown blusher!
Body cleansing - Barefoot in Summer? Or do you get grubby feet from your overworn ballet pumps? (no judgement here!) Or maybe you head out with the girls straight from work? Micellar Water on a paper towel is great for cleaning dirty feet, freshening armpits, or just a general good clean when you can't grab a shower!
Cleaning tools - Forget buying a separate brush shampoo, use Micellar to clean your make up brushes. It's quick, easy and doesn't need rinsing! Swirl your brushes in a cup of Micellar Water, use a face cloth to remove excess product and leave to dry!
Remove falsies - Garnier's Micellar Water is suitable for removing eye makeup. Hold a soaked cotton pad to your (closed!) eye for a few seconds, before easily removing your falsies!
Keeping your make up on - yeap, you read that right! Ever noticed how sometimes moisturiser seems to leave your makeup sliding down your face? Using a hydrating cleanser like Micellar Water (containing glycerin) means you can hydrate your skin but skip the moisturiser. A great tip for special occasion makeup!

I didnt know you could use this to clean makeup brushes, pretty cool, love how it has many uses and it saves buying these extra products, so your saving some dollars too.
