Can You Believe HOW many people have cut their own hair?

Haha yes I've cut mine and my daughter's (7yr old) hair during this lock down. Mine turned out fine. I used the "brush it all to the front, tie it to ya forehead and cut the length you think you want" method lol I actually got pretty good layers and no one has said anything so yay winning. My daughter on the other hand... I did the same method but she wouldn't keep still and well let's just say I can't wait for the salons to be open so I can get her bangs and layers fixed up haha it looks slightly like someone cut it at home, in a lockdown hahahahahaha lucky we can just put clips in or tie it up hehe. And she's not old enough to be pissed at me. I'm sure that will come when she looks back at the photos. Can anyone say 21st pics hahahaha.

I asked my husband to cut the back of my hair and he did such a lovely job I am now going to continue with the lovely news style :)

I have a fringe and some how have managed to avoid trimming it. I have started taking collagen so my fringe is on super growth speed. It's now at a length that needs to be swept off my face as it sits on my nose. It is still strange seeing it so long and cannot wait to get a fresh fringe styled.

I've resulted in cutting my own fringe and using my pink tinted conditioner to give me a boost in the lockdown period

I have trimmed my fringe and given the ends at the side a wee trim , and it looks ok

I've definitely come close to cutting my hair, have managed to abstain so far ... just! Almost attacked my eyebrows, but with the roll on of Level 2 possibilities I've instead booked for a microbrow tattoo consult. My big success was keeping my nails looking good and experimenting with the drawer full of unused polishes!!

Tried to cut my teen sons hair and ended up giving him such a bad buzz cut he wouldn’t go anywhere without a hat on. #mumdiyfail

I tried dying my mums hair yesterday and accidentally gave her a new golden look...not blonde. Oops!!! I think I will wait to see my hairdresser before I try diy my regrown lol

I have gone to the home waxing kit, twice now, and it was a comedic experience with the body being contorted, muscles spasming and a right event, in the privacy of my home. The result was pretty good but I can't wait to see my beautician again soon!

I'm constantly being told off by my hairdresser for cutting my fringe - and that's when we WEREN'T in lockdown! I'm a bit of a nightmare for them and always have been over the years. I've been so tempted to put a colour through...but there's also an 'interesting' story around that too. A few years ago, my Year 8 class dyed my hair bright red during a camp concert. Brilliantly set up and absolutely hilarious - I had dyed blonde hair. Washed out to a stunning shade of pink that - you guessed it - my long-suffering hairdresser had to fix.

My 4 year old cut off her beautiful long curls. She surprizingly did some fairly decent layering, but I was so sad about the stunning hair she cut off.

I have trimmed my own hair for years, but during the lockdown I did a big cut - from long to just above the shoulders! I actually don't think it looks too bad! My attempt to cut my boyfriend's hair on the other hand... not so good

I coloured my hair at home and somehow missed all the white hairs around my face!!! Great! But no one bit the dairy owner saw me haha. I did try to cut a long fringe and shape my face but failed miserably, thank god for bobby pins right?! You know when you try and even it up and go to far? Well that’s me , a chunk out of my hair . Why oh why did I do it!

Oh God where do I start! I will make this short because I am in the middle of eating dins lol. I have been a diy box dyer forever but only in this lockdown I have chopped the ends twice. Tried to shape around my face, with an actual shaver because I thought it would work...it sort of did. I have dyed it many colours, bleached while drunk and missed a big patch at the back. Dyed the ends with food colouring, which covered everything. I have given up and now have it tied up 24/7 to hide my orange chunk.
