Are you looking to switch to natural haircare?

Our hair is a funny thing.  It's essentially dead from the root down, but that doesn't mean we don't need to pay it some TLC.  And we're not just talking about slapping on a deep conditioner every week or so - every time we wash or style our hair we should be using the very best products we can, for our mane and our skin.

YES, our skin!  Think about it - whenever we shampoo our hair we are shampooing our scalp.  Whenever we apply conditioner, our skin will be exposed to it.  The suds and washed out product stream down our face and body.  And we all know how absorbant our skin is right?

I once developed really dry skin on my shoulders, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was causing it.  (I only found out about it when The Mummy thought I had dandruff and conducted a Mummy-investigation.)  I tried creams aimed at ezcema, moisturisers, barrier creams, scrubs, but nothing would solve the dry, flakey patch.  Until I changed to a different brand of shampoo and conditioner.  True story.

Skin naturally absorbs what we put on our hair. If the shampoo and other hair products are not developed to work with your skin then they strip the body oils. The Eithne Curran range is based on 'good ethical science', that has used natural science to create a mild botanical cleansing system.

We're looking for members to put the Eithne Curran Shampoo, Conditioner and Restore Treatment to the test.  Every product in the system uses 20 ultra pure plant scientifically research plant essences which compliment the hair and skins natural chemistry.  There are no SLS, parabens, mineral oils, silicones, glycols, synthetic dyes, alcohol retinols or animal by-products.  The range is cruelty free and suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.  We know, it sounds too good to be true right?!

If you'd like to join this trial team and help us put this $150 system to the test, tell us about your hair below, and why you'd like to give the range a go - we might just pick you!

I never really thought about it like that, but you're right! We do end up with shampoo all over our skin...

In all honesty I'm a bit of an asshole to my hair. I use treatments and barely ever touch my hair dryer but I can't seem to give up my GHD or hair dye. Right now I have me some super frazzled ends and general all over frizz. I've been looking into more natural and environmentally friendly alternatives for a couple of months since becoming a lot more cautious of what I put in/on my body, can't wait to hear how this stuff turns out :)

OMG, yes please! This whole range sounds amazing!!! I would love to try this! When I was living in Argentina I only used natural products on my hair (at the time my skin used to be combination) and now, 3 years later and my skin and hair is the driest it has ever been. I have tried many different products but nothing seems to be working.

I would love to try this my hair is long and curly in not bad condition a little dry at the ends. With all the chemicals in nearly everything it would be fantastic to try something so nice and natural on my mane! :)

I would really love to try this range. We just arrive from holidays and my hair really need some tlc. Normally I got oily root and very dry ends, dying it is not great but it's sure better than seeing my greys.

I'd love to try this. I haven't tried natural haircare to date because I don't want to spend lots of money for it to not work. So I would be very keen to test this out on my hair and see if it is worth buying.

I'm not all that phased about if a product is natural or not... I know I should be but I tend to just go for what works whether it be natural or not.... I am yet to find the cure for my colour damaged, dry unruly mane! I have resorted to 5 weekly trims to try & combat the split ends - I know this is something that I should be doing anyway but I really want long hair & having the growth cut off every time is heartbreaking, honest! I just want to be able to have my curls looking nice and mermaid hair.. I want mermaid hair too!

This system sounds great & I love the packaging!

This range sounds amazing! I would love to try this as I have been considering switching to natural skincare. Since finding out I'm pregnant I have been wanting to switch to products with less chemicals in them.

My hair is dyed twice a month (and has bleach in it atm) - it's grey naturally. I dry and straighten it most days and curl it a few times a week. It's pretty long, and kinda gets abused - a perfect pet project for natural haircare to see if nature can have an effect on what chemicals and technology have control of at the moment!

This product sounds so great -I get really dry skin at the back of my hair line aggravated by hair colour and this may just be what I need. With using colour I try to use more natural products as I think there are enough chemicals in the colour which already cause problems.

This sounds great, I wash my hair daily because what gets in there is feral..... Cow poo, milk, milk powder, crushed wheat, little human boogers, and occasionally the odd lollipop stick. It's a wonder I have any hair left! I use so much shampoo and conditioner it's crazy. probably should use more natural products though

Um, yes, please? I would love to trial these products. I do not want to sound pretentious, but I take such good care of my hair and believe it is one of the best physical assets I have. A few years ago I had gotten a short haircut which I later came to regret and I googled all the different methods to speed up my hair growth, so if you need some advice on that, I'm your girl! Some of the best ways in increasing hair growth is to use natural, organic ingredients which is also great for keeping your hair healthy. So, I would love to be able to try this and see if it can improve the vitality of my hair.

I would love to try this on my hair - my hair is very curly, long and have dry ends. No matter what I try, I can never find the perfect product for my hair, so that my curls don't look like dreads after a few days lol. Package is perfect - very sleek (that price tags a bit scary lol)

Whoa - someone's going to get really lucky...

29th October, 2015

I'd love to go natural but only if the product is up to my standards. My hair is very high maintenance, being long, dyed and on the wavy side, it tangles easily. I'm always on the lookout for the best products to give me the best hair. Sad I know, but it makes me happy to pamper my hair.
