She's taken the world by storm, not only with her distinctive music but also by her individual look, so it should come as no surprise that Lorde is now teaming with MAC to create her own MAC collection. Due to be released globally in June, Lorde has a long love affair with the cosmetic giant, "I have loved M.A.C Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first M.A.C lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends!" she explains.
MAC and Lorde have been working closely together since last year, with senior MAC makeup artist Amber Dreadon creating Lorde's current tours beauty looks, Amber is also responsible for Lorde's memorable Grammy and Brit awards makeup looks.
It would seem that Lorde and MAC is the perfect match with the talented performer saying "M.A.C has a very clear aesthetic that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too."
It's got to be given that this collection is going to contain at least one dark, gothic lippy but what are your picks for the rest of the collection? Maybe smokey eyes and flawless skin?
Probably be too dark for me, but keen to see :D
