Makeup Look of the Week - Nude by Day

21 July, 2015 - 08:51pm by - First Lady | 36 Comments

Photos and makeup by Sophie Garth

This week our Makeup Look of the Week uses the Maybelline The Nudes palette - and the ever gorgeous Sophie Garth has used the palette to create a Nude by Day look.

We're incredibly excited to share this amazing look, created by the talented Sophie.  Check out Sophie's website and get following her on Instagram and Facebook.

Get the look:
  • Start off by putting a concealer or eyelid primer on the lid up to the brow and set with 3.
  • Put 2 on the eyelid and blend up into the crease.
  • Carefully put 10 on the outer V and blend outwards and pull slightly into the crease and blend. Also put it on the lower lashline outer edge.
  • Using 6 on a really fine brush tightline the upper lashline.
  • Put 11 on the inner corner and blend into the eyelid colour. Also put on the inner edge of the lower lashline and blend towards the outer edge.
  • Lastly use 1 as a highlight on the brow bone, nose and cheekbone and I also used 8 to fill in my brows.

What a lovely everyday sort of look! When you say in point 4 to tightline the upper lid... does that mean the underneath of the lashes or the on top? (Sorry for noob question)
