This month we've set some of our fabulous and talented members a challenge. We want them to create Halloween looks to inspire you to get your creep on.
By now she needs no introduction, here's our Makeup of the Week with Sophie Garth.

Wednesday Addams. A classic (and simple!) Halloween costume in my books. If you have dark long hair you can whip this costume up last minute with a white collared shirt and a high necked top/sweater. My hairs short so I just donned a wig ;)
- Start by patting Avon Ideal Flawless Concealer Stick in Neutral all over the eyelid, up to the brow. Set this with Shade 1 from the Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quad in Mocha Latte.
- Using a fluffy blending brush, apply Shade 2 to both top & bottom eyelids and blend out. Using the enclosed sponge tip applicator, pat a little of Shade 3 right to the centre of your eyelid. This creates a little dimension to the eye without shading the crease. To enhance (or create if you're lucky!) the bags under your eyes, carve out a line with a detail brush using Shade 4. Get the blending brush you used with Shade 2 and blend the line out so its more subtle.
- Using the Za Gel Eyeliner in Black, tightline your upper lash line. Then run the So Susan Haute Light highlighting pencil along both water lines to make your eyes look larger.
- Lastly, curl your eyelashes and run Clinique Lash Doubling mascara through them.
The rest of the look:
- Then for your foundation... You want to use a very pale shade (lucky for me I'm naturally pale!), I used L'Oreal Lumi Magique in N1 Pure Pearl.
- Apply this all over your face, avoiding the eye area, with your fingers. Then bounce the round end of a damp Beauty Blender over it to blend into your skin.
- If you have dark under eyes (beyond the faux/enhanced ones) use CoverGirl + Olay Eye Rehab Concealer and blend it in using the pointed end of the Beauty Blender. For any blemishes pat the Avon concealer on gently with your fingertips.
- For the pale and sallow completion, set the foundation and concealers with Talcum Powder. I used Simple Baby Talc as it's perfume free.
- Normally this is where I would blush and contour, but as you want the face to appear a little lifeless you want to skip this step. However you still want to enhance your bone structure so let's strobe! Kind of. Using Mellow baked eyeshadow in Peach (I really like this shade as an illuminator!) on a fan brush, swipe gently along the top of your cheekbone, brow bone, down the length of your nose and a teeny bit on the centre of your forehead.
- Using Avon Glimmerstick Brow Definer in Dark Brown fill in your brows.
- Now for the lips you could go for a nude shade of lipstick/lipgloss too pale for you, which is more authentic to the Wednesday Addams in the movie, but I thought black would be more dramatic. I used Gerard Cosmetics lipgloss in Borneo on a lipbrush.
- Lastly spritz your face with NYX Setting Spray to ensure your makeup stays put.
