Our Top Ten Ways To Use A Multi-Purpose Balm

Who doesn't love a multi-tasking product? Something that can do double-time. Or triple-time. Or in the case of a good balm - decuple-time (and yes, I had to Google that little piece of ten-related trivia). No wonder the one product you'll find in each and every Beauty Review crew member's handbag is a paw paw balm - it's the one product that can ease an itch while keeping you looking beautifully groomed! So what are the ten ways we love to use our balms? Read on...

Lips feeling chapped or cracked? Slick a bit of paw paw on it!

Speaking of chapped and cracked... if your heels are looking worse for wear then it's time to treat them to some balm action. Smother them in the good stuff, pop on a pair of socks, hit the hay, and wake up to fab feet!

Need to look like you've made an effort, but your makeup kit's not on hand? A little paw paw applied to the tops of your cheekbones and onto your eyelids will give you a natural but gorgeous glow.

Has your eczema flared up? Paw paw balm can help ease the itch.

One of my favourite uses for paw paw balm? Calming a mozzie bite. Those littler suckers love me, and my summers (and springs, and autumns, and sometimes even winter - the joys of living in Auckland...) are spent scratching or trying not to scratch my itchy bites. This summer I discovered a little paw paw can go a long way to reducing the desire to scritch.

Just noticed your eyebrows are next level out of control? Run a little paw paw through them to tame the caterpillary beasts!

The same goes for those fluffy hair days. Sparingly apply paw paw balm to the fluffies to reduce the frizz.

Cuticles looking less than cute? Massage some paw paw on them!

And if your knees and elbows are drier than the Sahara, you know what to do... squeeze some paw paw into your hands and get rubbing!

Finally, this won't apply to everyone... BUT if you've a bubba and its bum's got a case of nappy rash, a smear of paw paw balm can work wonders. (It was a must-have in my nappy bag back when I was at the baby stage of life.)

So there you have it... ten reasons why we can't get enough of the fantastic multi-purpose delight that is paw paw balm. So... are you onboard? What do you use your paw paw balm for? Is paw paw balm something you need to get your hands on? (And dare we remind you it's one of the many amazing products in our Nudes 2 box?) Chat away!

I've been wanting to try the sukin paw paw balm for awhile now. I might have to get it soon, my lips are chapped for the winter season and I want to see if this will help it

A product with multiple uses is very good for me! save buying extra products and shelf space with a do it all. This brand makes shampoo. Paw paw is popular.

I have been using my pawpaw ointment for quite a lot of these uses and I've got to say, it's my first tube but won't be my last!

I just adore this product - I received it in my mystery beauty box and it has been nothing less than incredible!!!

I've seen this around heaps and wondered how good it is! I'm using the Scholl heel product at the moment but I'd up for trying another product that's good for heels...it nearly swayed me towards buying the nudes BBBE...

If you acne prone skin I would be wary of applying paw paw anywhere on your face besides your lips, although if you were going dye your hair applying this over your ears, neck and around your forehead would help keep your skin from getting stained from hair dye.

I received this in the last beauty gamble box. I'm loving it so far as it's definitely helping with my dry lips.

I'm using it at the moment. So far so good. Definately give some of these tips a try.

Great article Kellie. I always have the Lucas Paw Paw in my handbag. Haven't tried another brand though so would be interesting to see the difference

I hadn't realized there were so many uses... when I think about it it makes sense though. I get really bad dermatitis / eczema on my hands, and once that's healed my skin goes dry and cracks all over again... sounds like paw paw ointment would be an investment in my case.

Excellent product and great when I get dry skin in winter and great on lips. Can't do without it.

Good article. Im using coconut oil at the moment which is also good for these things.

I don't know how I feel about putting that on my eyelids, I can imagine that feeling sticky and weird. But the eyebrow taming trick sounds like it's worth a shot!

20th June, 2017

Paw Paw balm is one of my go to handbag products because I can use it for a fair few things.

20th June, 2017

I love Sukin and paw paw so this is something I will definately buy. So many uses!

Yes I also like Coconut oil and find so many uses for that too.
