It may be summer down here in good old Aotearoa but up in the Northern Hemisphere it is winter and with that comes the Autumn/Winter trends and one trend that seems to be making its presence known is the hair cuff, perhaps the scrunchies sleeker, classier cousin?

Making that bad hair day even easier hair cuffs decorate and jazz up the humble pony tail or plait by simply clipping around your hair tie. Coming in a range of sizes, colours, metallics seem to be the hot pick of the moment with silver, gold and brass adding a bit of bling.

So for those of you not so keen on the scrunchie how does this compare? Is this the ideal hair accessory, perfect for the work Christmas do and New Year's eve? Or is it one trend that should be left in the Northern Hemisphere?

Ooooo I really like this idea!! I'm kind of stuck in the "Mum" go to ponytail at the moment and need it prettied up!

I like it, definitely makes a pony tail a little bit more classy. Looks a whole lot better than a scrunchie too :P

I love this, way way better then the awful scrunchie!! I usually wear my hair in a ponytail since it's super long so this would give a nice bit of difference to it.
