Why Do You Spend Time On BR...& you could WIN!

I use Beauty Review before I purchase any type of skincare or makeup as I hate wasting money on products that end up in the back of the cupboard gathering dust or in the bin. I first found out about Beauty Review when Googling a certain product and have been hooked since. I love the fact that the reviews are done by women (and Men) just like me and I recommend this group to all my friends.

I always prefer to read reviews before I go splashing out money on products, so this is the perfect site to do that! I love everything beauty, but am very very picky on what I buy, so I like to be certain the product is going to be up to scratch before buying.

I love giving my thoughts and feedback on products I have tried myself as well, to give some insight to anyone that wants a good opinion on the product!

It’s great to read reviews before buying products especially when it comes to things like hair colours!! I also love the opportunity to be a reviewer now and then and try out new things!

Spending time on BR helps me keep up to date with what products are effective, new or trending. There are so many options out there in terms of skincare and cosmetics that it can be very overwhelming. As a 20-something female with sensitive skin and eczema, it's becoming increasingly important for me to choose products with ingredients that are helpful rather than harmful to my skin. This isn't just the case - everything I buy will need to have good reviews first. This ensures that I am using products that are definitely trialled and tested and most likely effective for me. In so many cases, brands conduct their own user surveys. This creates a bias because, 1. they only give us the best outcomes, 2. they never release full reports and 3. ultimately as a business, they want to earn money so everything is marketed in a compelling way. This is why I love Beauty Review and why I spend time here. The reviews are left by everyday women with everyday stresses, worries and jobs which means I can trust their word much more than consumer marketing. Also, at the end of the day, I'm happy to support a NZ company with NZ-based products (no point reading reviews about products I can't buy!) with an audience of NZ men and women. :)

So many reasons! I'm a massive list person and I enjoy keeping a record of how I found different products. I love the opportunity to hear about lots of brands and products I wouldn't have learnt about otherwise. I love reading the forums and hearing opinions from other makeup-loving ladies. The cherry on top is the opportunity to try products for free and score goodies in the beauty vault! Love it! <3 <3 <3

I come here because I love writing reviews! Getting your honest opinion out is key. Obviously the fact you beautiful humans allow us to trial fullsize products for FREE! Is an added bonus. Love reading others reviews aswell on products and I always check in on the photo wall because there is always photos of different products/websites id never heard of so sure enough I have to check it out haha #BRmademedoit

For the first time in my life - and the numbers are getting up there! - I always come here to look for reviews before I even think of buying a new product. I can't remember the last time I paid much attention to an ad on tv or in a magazine - I'd much rather read what's on here. I love reading what others have to say about what they've used or trialled. That would be reason number one. My second reason is that I really love trialling products myself and writing honest reviews. Knowing that readers rely on us to give an honest opinion on what we trial gives us a sense of responsibility that I take pretty seriously but I also like to find a bit of humour in writing the reviews. I think the Beauty Review Team do a fantastic job of balancing the ages of the reviewers along with all the different beauty needs - don't know how you do it, but please keep up the awesome work!

I spend time on here (more and more lately!) Because with sensitive skin and a very tight budget I can't just buy any old product, so reviews from others are really helpful in deciding if something will be suitable for me before splashing out on something that will just irritate my skin. The trial products don't go amiss, either!!!!

I love reading the reviews and articles - I have discovered so many great products (and beauty tips) through this site that I never would have discovered otherwise. I also love getting the opportunity to trail and review products, and spending my points in the Beauty Vault.

That's easy, I like pretty much everything. I came across the site when I was looking for a product review and joined because I enjoy reviewing and the beauty vault sounded enticing. Then I discovered the great community and the really interesting articles. Why wouldn't I stick around?

I love to write reviews! Like I really enjoy writing about my experiences with products and like to think I might be helping others out there from my experiences. I love to try products and give honest reviews of how they work on the 40 something Mum! I really enjoy all things beauty and pampering and being in my 40’s it’s hard to find reviews from people my age using everyday beauty products so when I found Beauty Review (I was googling for a review of a concealer I was thinking of buying!) I was super happy and amazed I had found it and that the range of people on here was young to older, and were real world normal people with beauty dilemmas and skin challenges like me!. I love that the reviews are honest and are a reliable source you can trust of what products are really like rather than what the companies want you to think or what packaging promises. Practically every product I used or had tried is on here and I could have saved money and avoided some beauty blunders had I visited and joined here sooner. I’m yet to use the beauty vault but I’m excited to shop in April now I have enough points to shop!! The points for reviews is a bonus and I’m grateful for the trials I’ve been picked for!
