The BEST beauty deals in NZ this week!

If there's one thing we freely admit around here, it's that we love nothing more than cashing our paycheck in on all things beauty.  Yes, we probably should go on a 12-step program and cut ourselves off from our enablers - but where's the fun in that?!

Now you probably think 'you work for Beauty Review, you must get loads of freebies'.  Yeah, nah.  Plus we have that darn rule of only being able to talk about products and services we've paid for ourselves.

We're constantly asked where to find the best deals, where we buy our products from, where do we go for treatments.  So here's a few quick tips for you!

Where to find great deals.

Salon services can be expensive.  And rightly so.  An expert stylist or beauty therapist is your key to a pleasant experience and outcome.  But trying someone new, especially when it's accompanied by a hefty price tag is a bit daunting right?  Not with deal sites like Grabone.

Grabone features oodles of beauty deals, from half price waxing to full hair restyles at a fraction of the usual costs.  Head to the beauty section, select your city and check out what's availble!  (Be warned, there's also deals for everything under the sun, kid's outings, restaurants, holidays.  There's even a store and a bottle shop...)The best bit? New deals are added daily!

Budget.

Ah budget.  It's my favourite shopping B after bargain.  Yes, I enjoy budgeting.  Why?  Simple.  It makes a purchase guilt free.

Put a bit aside each week for your beauty habit, but don't feel you have to spend it.  Let it accumulate and when you see an amazing beauty deal, take advantage of it!  Rubbish at saving?  Load up a Prezzy Card - out of sight, out of mind!

Make a purchase win-win

From awesome GWP to fabulous multibuys, it's always a bonus to kill two birds with one stone.   Like the amazing Linden Leaves deal we're featuring on the site.  Here's how I'm making the most of it:

The free Miraculous Facial Oil is $65 usually, and to get it free you just need to spend $65!  The hand cream and body oil duo also has a saving of $15, so this makes this even sweeter!  Guilt free.

Rewards programs.

So, this might be a bit biased, but I love the Best Beauty Box Ever.  And not just because it's the brainchild of HRH Queenie of BR.  It really is a great way to try new products or build your collection in a really affordable way.  The Great Ball Season box for example.  11 products, and 2 of them aren't even available to buy here in NZ yet!  And the best bit?  You pay about a third of how much it would cost to buy these products in store!

But the icing on the cake?  The rewards program.  Every purchase earns points.  If friends use your referral link, you earn points.  Like them on FB.  You earn points.  And what do points make?  Sorry Brucie, not prizes.  But boxes.  Yeap, you simply redeem your points for money off of a BBBE purchase.

Of course, there are lots of beauty rewards programs out there, so even if you only occasionally shop at a store, if they have a loyalty program - sign up.  It all helps!

So there's 4 ways I sustain my beauty habit and some pretty cool deals to check out.  How do you make your beauty habit affordable?!

I used to go on grabone but haven't for a while, must have a look.

8th June, 2016

I use to purchase a lot of facial deal of grabone and treatment when I was living in Chch. It allowed me to sustain my highly expensive beauty habit of month facials. A lot of the deals were at salons I had been to before so I knew what to expect. I have only had a few bad experience mainly with my hair deals.

Grabone has amazing deals! I want the Semi permanent brows but have spent all my money on my sons birthday bash, Ill be keeping an eye out for another one. As for the BBBE featuring the Ball season, that box is the best one yet! They just keep getting better and better, Im Obsessed with the Setting spray <3

Yep rewards programs are the main way I sustain my beauty habit. I'm also a bargain hunter and never buy anything that is full price unless its really special.

6th June, 2016

Grab one I have used several times to gift massage and facial sand have had an awesome cut and colour the same way. The Beauty Boxes are awesome and of course the beauty Vault is so very cool.

Does anyone watch The Middle? The girl in the pic looks exactly like Axl's girlfriend Cassidy!

I agree I definitely try to hold out for good deals at Farmers or gwp, especially if I know the item is expensive. If the price for a certain item is the same at all the stores then I go for the one with the rewards program to get the most for my buck.

6th June, 2016

I budget. If I know something I really want is going to be released in a few months time I make sure I save for it, same goes for big ticket items.

6th June, 2016

Grabone website never heard before. I'll might go and check it. I love sales and bargain, is it something like that I always there....lol....

6th June, 2016

I'm also a total sucker for a gift with purchase. I often save my expensive skincare stock ups for GWP time.

6th June, 2016

Join the Farmers Club - I have got literally hundreds of dollars in vouchers over the years. It works out to be a 20% discount on beauty which is pretty generous.

6th June, 2016

Just be careful of salon deals on grab one it treatme. A lot of the time it's a way to get newbies and trainees up on their hours of practice, or when staff are testing out new products and are getting used to it. Not saying it's always the way but it pays to ask the question so you aren't caught out. Just ring the salon direct and ask them straight up about it.

GWP basically guarantees a purchase from me!

Farmers are about to have a 30% of Chi Chi sale (from Tuesday I think). Right now it is 25% off Chi Chi, as well as some other beauty brands.

5th June, 2016

Sigh...everything looks good...but I need perfume so I'm looking out for the best way to do that at the moment....

A perfume would be lovely pick up during this cold wintery season. I was looking at the sales at the warehouse tempted to buy something more strong out of my normal fruity scents.

I want something new but I don't know what. Giorgio would be good but I also want to try some other new things!

Farmers have a fragrance fair on now, with 30-50% off some scents.

Thanks Pifithrin! I've been perusing the internet but there are too many choices....

I agree with you, Ringy. I generally steer clear of GrabOne deals for that exact same reason.

I've had lots of good ones, but a few bad ones too, and some OK ones that were definitely trainees or new products. Just make sure you think first-we can all be blinded by a great deal!

When I get that $20 beauty rewards voucher I feel like I've won lotto haha!
