Finding a brow product that works for you can be harder than finding a needle in a haystack. Some are too thick to create the illusion of individual hairs, some too reddish in tone, others give you beetles for brows rather than a lush, natural but groomed look. Pomades can be scary to work with, powders can wear off easily, some gels give your brows that overly done 80s hair appearance. Personally, I prefer a good pencil. They're so easy to work with! Just fill in the areas that need defining and or extra colour oomph, brush through with a spoolie and you're done.
So which brow pencils are worth investing in? Which are bargains? Check out five that have been recommended by our Beauty Review community!
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz
RATED: 4.7/5!
Beauty Review Member h123 says: I love this product because the pencil is thin enough to easily fill my brows but be precise at the same time. The spoolie is great just for general eyebrow brushing.
2. Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil
RATED: 4.6/5
Beauty Review Member ayesha_e says: I used this product to fill in bold areas of my eyebrows and with the use of the brush, the product blended in so nicely to form a more fuller and natural look. I would definitely recommend to all.
3. L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Xpert
RATED: 4.6/5!
Beauty Review Member MrsWhitlow says: I really like this product, loved that it was all in one - so convenient! I really liked the angled tip to draw in fine lines and fuller end to fill in the gaps. The brush end smoothed it all out and gave a very natural look.
4. Maybelline Tattoo Brow 36hr Pencil
RATED: 4.3/5
Beauty Review Member LUXE says: It glides on without effort and blends beautifully using the eyebrow brush. I applied it in the morning and left it on overnight to see if it would fade… it didn't fade! It definitely lasts the 36 hours it claims to!
5. Maybelline Brow Satin
RATED: 4/5
Beauty Review Member Suziecooper13 says: This product is great for those wanting an easy, natural application for eyebrows, enhanced the brows with a nice soft look, would definitely recommend.
Have never used a brow pencil but I think I need to start - not a fan of the tinted eye brow look - seems way to dark on me.
