Double denim is back! …and it’s never looked better! 

I know, I know. You may well be thinking I’m totally out of fashion sync right now (nothing new there…) or maybe double denim is in again and I’m talking about triple denim!? What on earth am I on about? You see I saw something on Instagram the other day and I got a little giddy. Check this out:

Yup, denim hair. Yeah yeah, I know it could be called blue hair, and some could say it’s been around forever. Yeah, yeah. There’s a point there. Probably a good one. But it’s the name! Denim. Denim hair. It smacks of being super cool, a little rebellious. And then when paired with a denim jacket, jeans or a dress – whoop, there it is – double denim. (Or denim jeans, a denim jacket and denim hair – TRIPLE denim – let’s make that a thing!!)

I mean, how cool is that? Denim hair framing the face. A softly softly approach to be sure, not so bold as 100% blue hair, yet still beautiful. 

And then there’s this denim ombre hair. Striking, yet pretty.

What I especially like about denim hair is that if you’re denim mad you can create denim hair to suit your favourite hue – dark blue, black blue, light blue, even the good old I’ve-been-washed-a-thousand-times-and-I’m-so-soft-and-comfy-and-just-a-little-bit-patchy-coloured-these-days blue.

I think a lot chicks could pull this off. But since I don't have the funds I probably wouldn't do this fad but it is pretty.

I love this look -Not for me but I love Candeen's look best and so much for the young -I don't like fashion vibes as that just looks messy and unwashed. Go for it girls!

OK, I'm officially in love with denim hair. It looks so good in these Pics! I like that you could go quite dark to make it more wearable like the bottom pic too.

Beautiful when it is done right, it would go so far as to have dark blue highlights, but would be too chicken to dive straight in, red is hard enough to keep the colour strong, so I wonder what the upkeep is for the blue

I find the blue holds in my hair as well as the red colours used to... I think it would all depend on your product choices and how often you shampoo your hair as well. Dark blue streaks look amazing and you could always have a concealed colour :)
