Halloween? Done.

Christmas? Done.

New Years. Done McDoneDone.

Which means next up is Valentines Day! And we're ready to spread the love thanks to this adorable new trend popping up on the 'Gram.

Heart cheeks are a thing and we are here for them. Seriously, check this cutie out...

Doesn't it just make you want to squee with happiness? What we love about this look is that it's not weird. There are no wiggly wriggly lips or eyebrows in sight. It's not vaguely repulsive like furry nails. And it's not as intensive a look to apply as geode lips or neon eyeliner.

Best of all you can go as extra or as subtle as you like! Big hearts. Little hearts. Multiple hearts. Bright pink. Light pink. A sprinkle of glitter. How you want to rock the heart cheeks is totally up to you! And if you don't want to rock them? That's cool too - because it's makeup, it's self-expression - you do you!

But if you did want to get the look... you just have to cut out the shape of a heart (if you don't have a heart-shaped stencil lying around), pop it on your cheek, then load up your blush brush and apply the colour to your face. Or, apply a little lippy to your cut-out or stencil and stamp it on your face. Simple!

So... will you be stepping out with your heart on your cheeks this Valentines Day? Or do you prefer to keep your heart in the usual place? Your chest. Chat away!

My little Miss would love this but on me, ummmm don't think it would look right ha ha ha. It is pretty cute though and way better than squiggly lines and weird looking eyebrow shapes ha ha ha

Aww that's cute! I can see it with a fairy outfit for a child's party, but not on my face for everyday wear.

Cite for Valentine's Day but not for me I'm to old I'd look weirder than usual :)

That's a 'No' from me, make it stop!

18th January, 2018

Nope, I think I’ll give hearts on my cheeks a miss. I’d rather keep the heart designs on my nails, thanks.

18th January, 2018

Yeah cute... but i don't think I could pull this off, except maybe at a festival. Not exactly an every day look

18th January, 2018

Cute but i wouldn't do it myself

18th January, 2018

Pretty cute! But definitely not a look that I could pull off

18th January, 2018

Cute - but not professional! Prefer to keep it in my body haha

18th January, 2018

Definitely not everyday wear for me, and I do agree that the second one look clown-esk. Perhaps on valentines day or going to a themed party? Or yeah, kids.

18th January, 2018

It is cute, but probably not something I would try myself. take a step further for halloween though - face of hearts all over! hahaha
