Don't you adore that moment where you're scrolling through Instagram or perusing the daily beauty news and a product pops up that makes you gasp in pleasure, squeal with joy or giggle in amusement... not so much because of the product itself, but because of the way it's packaged. You'd think in this day and age where nothing seems all that new anymore we'd have fewer and fewer of these moments, but the last couple of months have been a veritable feast of beautiful and interesting beauty packaging... and we suspect that it's not a case of beauty only being skin deep with these products either. So what's on our lust list:
Lancome's La Rose a Poudrer is breathtaking. A perfectly pink highlighter that gives a gorgeous natural glow, which is great in itself - but the fact you sweep the product up off perfectly formed rose petals? Totally elevated from beauty product to work of art.
Love all things Sailor Moon? You'll want to get your hands on this amazing collection from Creer Beaute. On the outside it looks like you're rocking one heck of a cool pen. On the inside is their Moisture Rouge lipstick. Oh to pull this crazy cool product from my handbag...
There's a new contender in the makeup blender arena. The Evie Blender is a textured silicone makeup blender that claims to blend makeup beautifully with a swipe and bounce method. Easy to clean and able to last one whole year it's sure to shake the scene up. But what do we love most about this limited edition version? It sparkles.
If Paul and Joe's cat-shaped lipsticks weren't purrfect enough, for their latest anniversary limited edition they've created mini-kitten eye and face makeup. So adorable! Too cute! But the guilt of disfiguring those cuties with every swipe and smush? I don't know that I could handle the guilt.
Got a spare US$75 flitting about? Why not buy this weapon! I mean... eyeliner. Christian Louboutin's new Oeil Vinyle Luminous Ink Liner would be the ultimate piece to store on your vanity (along with all of the other CL range... honestly the styling!). Actually we love the idea of placing this next to Lancome's rose. When hard and soft collide! The other cool thing about this particular eyeliner? It's crimson. I have no idea how to wear crimson eye liner, but this makes me want to learn how!
So do tell, are you all heart-eyes for any of the products above? What other cool new packaging have you seen lately? What do we need? Sharing is caring!
So much WOW on one page!!! Love the Lancome rose... I would be too scared to use any of these though
