You know how you'd look at intricate nail art and wish for a simpler way to achieve the look?  And somewhere a clever noggin thought the same thing and invented nail wraps?  All of a sudden a small part of your body could make a loud fashion statement.

Well, lip transfers are the nail wraps of your mouth.  (Did I really just write that?!)  You can coordinate your lips to your outfit, we're not talking merely colour here, we're talking patterns.  Feeling patriotic?  Let your lips do the talking without making a sound - just slap on a flag transfer!

From caviar lips to animal print, from subtle to sparkly and spangly, you can create a look to remember in just seconds.  You can even apply lip transfers of simple yet bold colours - we're talking the reds, purples and pinks we know you love to rock daily.

So why a transfer?  Well other than the cool designs, they'll last you the night without the need for touch ups!  You can even eat and drink, although save the greasy kebab for the end of the night as oil is what removes these bad boys!

Violent Lips are probably the biggest brand of lip transfers and the designs are just staggering.  The image below is just a teeny tiny selection from their designs!

We want to know what you think of lip transfers - are they something you'd use for a special occasion, like a dress-up party or a sporting event, or could you see yourself rocking one on your next girls night out?

Have you tried lip transfers before?  What was your experience?

It looks cool - especially on models but I just don't think I'd rock it. I can't even rock a single bright lip let alone a whole design!

Not really a fan, to be honest. But the right person could rock them!

I have tried these they are definitely interesting, you have to make sure you cut them the right shape for your lips :)

NOPE!!!

I would have to be seeing several really good reviews to give these a try... They must feel super weird & I sure wouldn't trust them with food... After all they also say the nail transfers will stay on. Yeah right.

Definitely not my cup of tea!

2nd November, 2014

I've always liked these but I have small lips so I thought I couldn't wear these :(

2nd November, 2014

I would only use these for a photoshoot to add a unique edge

I'm sure there are some nice sparkly looking ones but I don't think I would use this for everyday. It's possible that these would be good for the right occasion but not for everyday. I also think this would look good on the right person with big shapely lips but not me.

I have seen these but not tried them... I guess they might look alright in the right context... but I am not sold on them yet.

Yeah, naaaah. It kind of makes me think about how you get sticky tape and attach it to your lips for fun, then peel it off to see your lips lines ... I mean, sticky tape on my lips for two seconds is fun. But I wouldn't want it for any longer than that. Although, I'm guessing they're not sticky tape-y at all, but yeah it makes me think of that, so nah, not my cup of tea.

2nd November, 2014

Um..sorry..but I think they look terrible :(

2nd November, 2014

I think they are just creepy, imagine slurping on your coffee and leaving a bit of your transfer on the cup eeek

2nd November, 2014

I haven't tried these and am not sure if I would. My daughter has though and I thought they were weird! They could look cool on though, depending on the style, color etc and what outfit and makeup were being worn along with it.

Em, might be ok for fancy dress, but no don't like them at all, sorry!

I have a fear of sticky tape on my lips - I'm a total convert to those tape dispensers you wear on your hands so I'm never tempted to bite the tape! You be cray cray! Or wild. Both?!

Heehee! I'm out-of-control! I can't bite down on tape and it drives me nuts because I kind of like the way it tastes too. Darn stooopid jaw dislocation in my late teens buggered that wee pleasure up for me :)
