When it comes to lips the two most common colour ranges are pinks and reds.  Which given the natural colour of our lips, makes sense right?  And we think every lass should own at least one perfect red and one perfect pink!

And of course the list of shades for these two colours is neverending - so lets get down to basics.  You're making your lips the feature of your makeup look.  Are you more likely to rock a red statement lip, or a pink one?

Red is the classic lip colour of the femme fatale.  It oozes confidence and is sexy and classic.

Pink is the classic lip colour of the girly-girl. It's pretty, it's flirty and it's fun.

I love both, but tend to go more towards pink although there is a certain kind of confidence I find that comes from wearing a bold red. Hmmm if I had to choose, I think im more a pink lip lady xx

I much prefer pink to red, I don't think ive ever actually worn a red lippy, nor do I even own one. Don't get me wrong I love the red colour shades I'm just not very good at bright bold colours and haven't had luck finding a shade that doesn't scare the confidence right out of me. I guess its more of a "how do I pull that off without looking like a dweeb" than not liking red. Pink feels safer.

I always grab for pinks ive got one red lippy that ive tried and wear around home as im not at that stage to wear it out yet maybe because its a dull deep red rather than a bright vibrant red would love to give it ago

When I wear lippy I love a bold statement and have been looking for the perfect shade of red. Red is such a classic colour... What is not to love xx

I love red lips, but I wear pink more often because I find it more versatile and wearable, and there is usually a better range of shades.

I wear shades of pink whenever I wear lipstick, love a nice light shade or a bright punchy colour

Red is in my opinion much more classic while pink, although is my favourite colour I do like to wear... I guess it just depends on the occasion and my mood !

If I had the guts to wear either it would be red. I always envy the ladies who can pull off a fantastic red lip. They always look so confident!
