It ought to be no surprise that the Beauty Review Crew are big fans of facial massage tools. Off the top of my head I know that we've tried face cupping, jade rollers, vibrating buzzy machines, as well as contour rollers. Basically, if it promises to enliven our face, we're going to try it, which is why I'm dead keen to get my hands on ice globes!
So, just what are ice globes? Why do we need them? And how do they differ from other tools we've tried? Read on...
What are ice globes?
Ice globes are a massage tool, made from steel, glass or fiberglass, that feature wand-like handles topped off by round spheres. Hence the globe part of the name. The 'ice' part of the name come from how you pop them in the fridge or freezer in order to chill them before use.
What do ice globes do?
Due to their chillled out nature, when rolled over one's face, ice globes constrict your skin's blood vessels and help with circulation, which has the knock on effect of reducing the look of redness, while de-puffing skin, leaving it looking lifted and awake.

How exactly do you use them?
Much like other massage tools, you want to use ice globes from the centre of your face moving down. For example, roll them from the inner brow, across the forehead, then down the sides of your face. Then take them from the sides of your nose, out under your eyes, then down your neck. If you want to add a beauty boost to the process, pop on your serum or moisturiser before using your globes.
Is there a downside?
What's not to love about looking lifted and glowy? Welllllll... The only thing putting me off popping them in a cart and buying them? The price. At around $60 - $70 (and then some in the case of some brands), ice globes are not the most afforable tool in the box, and I'm afraid that for me they'll end up a case of buy, try, then never use them again, making them a great big waste of moolah. Which is why I need to know this...
My lovelies, have you tried icy globes? What were your thoughts? Would you recommend them? And if you've not used them are you intrigued? Would you try them? Or is this a pass for you? Chat below!
