Will You Be Faking It This Summer?

If you know us, you'll know we're big advocates of self-tanning.  If you want to be a golden goddess you need to fake it to make it; none of this baking in the sun or laying in a tube business!

But fake tanning can be a little scary for some people - the fear of streaks, the chemical smell, the risk of looking like an oompa loompa.

If those sound like your trepidations, then this is the trial team for you!

We're putting Secret Glo Tanning Gloves to the test!  Each premeasured glove will give your entire body a golden glow from head to toe! Secret Glo is the self-tanning glove that gives you a gorgeous summer glow without harmful UV rays or messy tanning creams.

And, it's apparently really simple to use and almost impossible to mess up! All you do is put the glove on your hand, and rub across the areas that you want tanned. Secret Glo dries in just a few minutes leaving you with a healthy, glowing tan, and none of the  mess on your hands unlike some other tanning products.

This solution claims not to stain clothes, nor will it wash away when shaving or in the swimming pool.  Andd...it claims to last for 10 days!

If you'd like to put your hand up for this trial, why not tell us your experiences with fake tan - do you usually use a spray, or are you a lotion, cream or mousse girl?  What about this product stands out for you?

Get chatting below and we might send you one to try!

I always use fake tan especially on my legs as I have such fair skin and I burn too easily -This looks like a fun trial. I have been through it all with sprays and creams and orange bits but have gradually learnt less is more and moisturized first so the tan doesn't grab at the drier skin.I would really like to try the glove as it looks so much less messy.

I am all over faking it. I love my skin too much to sit in the sun and get a tan. I use Dove holiday skin it means that I can't muck it up and that it's gradual not in your face straight away. I can't wait to see what the reviews of this will say though.

Yip already started but I'll probably do both bc beaches and kids mix too well and we're always on the beach in summer especially where we live on the Shore. Anyway I've enjoyed using Sugar baby and Skinfoods gradual tanner I'd love to try this I'm all about that moisterizer too if it's built in its much better and s clear cream is better then a brown tinged tanner

2nd December, 2015

I'd love to have olive skin, but not by fake tanning though.

2nd December, 2015

No not for me, I already have color. And I like being pale. Best of luck ladies.

2nd December, 2015

I've used various fake tans in the past. I'm not a fan of sprays (they go everywhere!) and creams tend to streak. I use Sugarbaby Sunbelievable mousse or Palmers Cocoa Butter gradual tanning lotion (the bronze one) but these mitts sound fantastic! No worries about stained, streaky hands or trying to wash a mitt after use. No mess, no fuss! I like the sound of it!

2nd December, 2015

I usually just use the Dove gradual tanner because I am to chicken to use something stronger in case I end up orange. I would love to try these tanning wipes, they look interesting.

2nd December, 2015

No other way for me - spend too much time indoors to get the real thing. At the moment i have a spray which is quite good and a mitt to help prevent streaks. My daughter though has wipes & still manages streaks, lol! I think she is probably rushing application.

2nd December, 2015

I have been getting into fake tan recently. I have been using the Eco Tan Winter Skin for a while now but now im wanting to try the Loving Tan

2nd December, 2015

I have 2 fake tanning products to use, a mousse and... a glitter :D haha its a shimmer oil. But they go hand in hand and I do quite like them. I can never reach my back though, why cant they give us something to help us get our backs? Fiance refuses (rude). These sound super interesting, though I don't know how I would get along with them!

2nd December, 2015

Fake tanner here too, I'm currently using Bondi sands, the stuff is amazing and smells like coconut. I'm loving it I do like the sound of these gloves too. It sounds so easy and not so messy

1st December, 2015

I've used a lot of different fake tans and the two biggest problems I encounter are streaks in the tan and that it always needs topping up. So 10 days, yes please. Sounds like an interesting product to put to the test.

1st December, 2015

Wow this tanner sounds like the dream of tanning! And I would love to trial this. It sounds like it is a fool proof fuss free tan, all in a glove? Yes please!

1st December, 2015

I've only used spray can tan on my legs and I loved it. I'm not keen on putting it on my face though.

1st December, 2015

I neeeeed these! (if they work) haha. I've been obsessed with fake tanning for a couple months now. I used to really only put on tan when I was going out, and it would be a wash off version because I hated the smell of normal fake tan. Anyway, I found an amazing St Tropez gel that didn't have the hideous fake tan smell, so I've been using that religiously...until it ran out. It was in my empties photo I posted a few days ago...so again, I need these wipes! Haha

The part I hate most with tanning is washing the mitt afterwards, do you know how hard it is to wash a mitt and not splash your already tanned areas on your arms etc? I've already learnt to tan my hands after washing the mitt, with a cotton ball, but these wipes could save all that hassle! Just wam, bam, tan!

Im a St tropez fan too! I just used up Luxe oil and I loved it so much! The gel sounds good though. Youre so clever using a cotton ball to tan your hands :)

I fill the sink with some water first and place a long stick type object nearby (husbands toothbrush works well) so when I'm finished I can drop the mit into the water and swish with the toothbrush - I leave it to soak until I am dressed

I really want to try that oil, Lutece! Hopefully next on the list. Ringy, does it just soak itself clean and you pull the plug? That's so funny, Natasha. I've tried St Moritz and hated the smell lol. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Yes this sounds really worth trying -I have tried a lot and it is better than being burnt

lol, he is probably worried he will get covered in glitter or turn orange ;) My hubby wont help with application either except to point out bits missed the day after pfft

Haha nah I've only ever asked him to do my back using a machine thing - I forget the name - (only $25 though!) and that was tough enough apparently. Luckily he doesn't point out where i missed, I'd be inclined to smack him!

Are you finding it works well? I still have mine unopened, mostly because I couldn't get the scrub out for the tube to prepare the long lost legs for tanning lol
