To use up a smudgey mascara but keep it in place put a thick layer on then cover it with a layer of waterproof mascara to hold it in place (it also makes it easier to remove the waterproof layer later)

Put a few drops of pepermint oil onto the back of your neck to cool yourself down in hot climates or when the temperature soars. Works a treat especially when going through menopause....

Paint your nails before a shower or bath... then if there are any untidy bits they will come more easily once skin is softened.

Make your skin silky smooth with an easy homemade sugar scrub - just mix sugar, oil (I used canola as it's all I had at the time) and lemon/lime juice together. Pop into a sealable tub and use it in the shower - bliss!

Use conditioner instead of shaving cream when you are shaving your legs! It makes the hairs softer and easier to shave and makes your skin feel super nice! - Cheaper too

Using witchhazel for a face toner, helps with redness and minimizes acne :) super cheap from the pharmacy
