What Type of Cleanser Do You Use?

Flubble - a foamy bubble

Oi, you.  Yes You!  It's time to come clean!  Don't worry, we're not asking you to confess your deepest, darkest secrets - we want to know about your cleansing habits!

Cleansers are a vital part of your skincare routine and it's simply a skincare must to find the perfect cleanser for your skin and lifestyle.  The wrong cleanser can leave your face so clean it squeaks - and that's a bad thing.

There are two main types of cleanser - foaming and non-foaming.  Foaming cleansers are lathered up with water, much like soap; but unlike soap they are specially formulated to be used on the face. Non-foaming cleansers, cream or oil for example, are applied to dry or mildly damp skin and are removed with or without water, using a tissue, cotton pad or dry face cloth.

Now cleansing foamers are usually the kind that will leave your face too clean, stripped of oils and at risk of being dry.  But not all foamies do this!

We're putting Za Deep Hydration Cleansing Foam to the test.  This foaming cleanser gives clarity to the skin by gently removing dirt, sebum and excess dead skin surface cells.  It promises to leave your skin feeling moisturised and refreshed.

So, when it comes to cleansers what format do you prefer and why? If you like using one that foams, is it because your face feels "cleaner"?  Do you use the same type everytime, even if you switch brands, or do you like to change it up depending on how you and your skin feel?

Get chatting below, we need 20 members to put the Za Deep Hydration Cleansing Foam to the test - and you could be one of them!

P.S - Don't forget to head over to our Facebook page.  We're giving away 4 complete Za Deep Hydration ranges!

Personally I usually use non foam cleansers because there is often debate as to whether soaps that lather a lot strip your skin, so I tend to be a bit careful, but I love cleansing my face so would love to test this out and see the result!

Eeek, I use the foaming in the morning and non-foaming at night, find this works!

I currently use a cleansing balm but still prefer a foaming cleanser, it just makes my face feel squeaky clean! I love to keep one in the shower to use in the mornings to make sure all the gunk that didn't come off the night before is gone baby!!

This product looks great, I'd love to try it. It's really interesting that it contains hyaluronic acid granules. Currently I use a foaming cream cleanser. My skin feels tight and dry if I use one that is too harsh so I need the right balance between getting a good clean and not drying my skin out.

I'm a non-foaming! I use the Cetaphil brand which doesn't foam up very much at all. My skin is in need of some extra hydration right now though - it's pretty dehydrated after spending a week in the islands!

I love using a flubble cleanser in the evening when showering and in the mornings I prefer a light weight cream cleanser that I use with a flannel at the sink. I make the point of cleansing morning & night....flubbles are such fun (just like a bubble bath vs a bath with no bubbles.....kid at heart here)!

I've tried a lot of cleansers, the majority being non-foaming but many tend to leave my face feeling dry. I have heard heaps about Za products but would love to try for myself, then I can give an honest and true opinion (and I might just find a cleanser that I like! lol)...BRING ON THE FOAM!

21st February, 2016

I love the fun foaming brings to a skincare routine, it creates a specific time that is set aside to not only looking after my skin but to also having fun while doing it. our skin is our largest organ but better way to celebrate that with some flubble fun.

I like to try a range of face cleansing products I'm not that fussy ?

Currently using Dove but have also used Simple in the past. With Dove you only need a little to make many flubbles!

20th February, 2016

I use clean and clear foaming cleanser, I am probably WAY too old to still be using that, but I have never found another brand that does the same thing for my skin. would love to try the new Za one.

20th February, 2016

I currently use non-foaming but am looking for a new face cleanser, and I think I would like to try a foaming one now! I have sensitive skin and dermatitis around my eyes so it's always a trial whenever I change brands so I'm a good tester for sensitive skin!

20th February, 2016

I'm currently using non foaming, totally unintentionally it just happens to not foam up. I usually prefer a foamed over a creamy one as I hate the build up feel some creamy ones give.

20th February, 2016

I love the clean feeling of foaming cleansers so would love to try this product
