What Type of Cleanser Do You Use?

Flubble - a foamy bubble

Oi, you.  Yes You!  It's time to come clean!  Don't worry, we're not asking you to confess your deepest, darkest secrets - we want to know about your cleansing habits!

Cleansers are a vital part of your skincare routine and it's simply a skincare must to find the perfect cleanser for your skin and lifestyle.  The wrong cleanser can leave your face so clean it squeaks - and that's a bad thing.

There are two main types of cleanser - foaming and non-foaming.  Foaming cleansers are lathered up with water, much like soap; but unlike soap they are specially formulated to be used on the face. Non-foaming cleansers, cream or oil for example, are applied to dry or mildly damp skin and are removed with or without water, using a tissue, cotton pad or dry face cloth.

Now cleansing foamers are usually the kind that will leave your face too clean, stripped of oils and at risk of being dry.  But not all foamies do this!

We're putting Za Deep Hydration Cleansing Foam to the test.  This foaming cleanser gives clarity to the skin by gently removing dirt, sebum and excess dead skin surface cells.  It promises to leave your skin feeling moisturised and refreshed.

So, when it comes to cleansers what format do you prefer and why? If you like using one that foams, is it because your face feels "cleaner"?  Do you use the same type everytime, even if you switch brands, or do you like to change it up depending on how you and your skin feel?

Get chatting below, we need 20 members to put the Za Deep Hydration Cleansing Foam to the test - and you could be one of them!

P.S - Don't forget to head over to our Facebook page.  We're giving away 4 complete Za Deep Hydration ranges!

I'd be keen on this one the last ZA one I used really dried my skin out so much it felt like it squeaked. I love the foaming ones thou I'm using Neutrogena at the moment and it seems pretty good.

Clean means flubbies, keen to give something new a whirl... Saying that I recently used the Trilogy cream cleanser & it's lovely :)

I like cleansers that are really lathery and foamy. I have lots of fun with it lol. Same with shower and bath products. Its weird but makes me feel as if Iam really clean after using it.

Flubbles are nice because it makes you feel like you're getting twice as clean! But I've always wanted to try something from the ZA range, and would love to be able to trial this cleanser. This is like perfect timing too because I'm running out of my current facial cleanser from Garnier.

I haven't used a foaming cleanser for a while now. Not for any particular reason other than I've just been trying new things. :) At the moment I'm alternating between micellar cleansing water and an exfoliating scrub and that seems to be working well. I'd definitely love to try this out for the hydration factor and to see if foaming cleansers really are for me! I do remember enjoying them when I used them!

I like to mix my cleansers up a little. I do like a foam one though, my skin just feels cleaner maybe cos I see all the bubbles on my face. Hydrating one is a good idea, as you get older, your skin does get drier and I notice I tend to use a richer moisturiser now.

Foam is fun! It just feels better on the skin and you can tell if you've cleaned thoroughly. I've been trying out all sorts and I just purchased a ZA face serum and I would love to trail this cleanser and see if they compliment each other. I'm trying to find the perfect one that is great for my skin and leaves me feeling great. I need this sooo much I'm so excited!!

I like both but at the moment I use a non foaming milk cleanser by Oasis beauty and my foaming cleanser I would normally use is Shiseido gentle foaming cleanser ibuki range it really gets in there and cleanses good also dries up my skin but doesn't feel like my skins stripped of its natural oils. I would love to try this range and see if it does the same as Shiseido being that it's a sister brand. I also see benefits of pore reduction with my Shiseido and my non foaming cleanser with also no breakouts. Win win imo

I love a bit of foam, makes me feel like the cleaners doing something. I'm currently looking for a new face cleaner as my last has left me with dry patches on my forehead, not a good look under make up!

18th February, 2016

I actually use both! I have a foaming one in the shower for when I feel the need to wash my face in there & an Oil one & a cream one outside of the shower. I like to mix it up a bit!

I only use foaming cleansers, they're the only ones that leave my oily skin feeling clean! I'm currently hunting for a new foaming cleanser as the last two I've tried have left me feeling disappointed (no flubbles) and my current bottle is almost finished. I'd love to trial this one as the Hyaluronic Acid-infused and Vitamin E granules have caught my eye!

Foaming cleasers are my favourite type, hands down. I just find them so much more satisfying to use. I think it is the 'feeling clean' thing. I use a different cleanser morning and night, and switch it up regularly. I used to have three on the go (one for gym bag, one for shower and one for sink) but it got a little silly. I love the idea of a hydrating foaming cleanser too, I have used some in the past that were too drying even on my skin which can get oily.

I definitely prefer the foaming cleansers but am currently using a cream cleanser which does the trick but I personally don't like the feeling.

Flubbles are my life. I spend mcuh time and money on products that foam, bubble and all of the above. To me it means that I am clean and also bubbles are fun!!!

I do like foam cleanser in morning when I just like to clean my face..,,but night time I prefer cream or without foam cleanser. I never try za product probably in future.
